-2 weeks later-
B-"I hate throwing up" (sobs)
J-"I know baby, I'm sorry"
Jug rubbed my back while holding back my hair as I was throwing up in the toilet. As I laid my back against the wall Jug gave me a cup of water, which I took but immediately threw it up.
J-"How long have you been feeling like this?"
B-"A couple of days, I probably just caught the stomach bug. I'll just have to wait it out"
J-(sighs)"Come on, let's get you back in bed"
He helped me up and walked me to our bed then laid me down and pulled the covers over me before kissing my forehead.
J-"Do you need anything? Or want anything?"
I shook my head and as he combed a string of hair behind my ear.
J-"Okay, i'm gonna go tell Toni you can't work today"
B-"Thank you"
J-"No problem"
He smiled at me before walking out the door. And as he left the room I realized that I missed him...and over these last few weeks I had realized that I had fallen in love with him. I didn't know what had changed, but I love him, and I think that I have always loved him but have been too scared to actually admit it. But now I knew, I wasn't scared anymore, I loved him.
T-"Hey B, I know that your sick but I was just wondering if you have a tampon that I can borrow? I ran out"
B-"Oh yeah sure, there's a box in the bathroom under the sink"
T-"Thanks"
She ran into the bathroom and closed the door while I heard the cabinet open from the other side of the door.
T-"Do you need one?"
She yelled through the door.
B-"No, I'm good"
She walked out the door and sat down on the other side of the bed.
B-"Hey, what day is it today?"
T-"Today's the 17th"
My breathe hitched and I shot up.
T-"What? What's wrong?"
B-"I need to run to the store"
T-"But you're sick"
B-"I'll be fine. If Jug asks, I ran to the gas station"
I got up and threw on my shoes and grabbed my keys then ran out the door and downstairs out to my car before speeding to the drug store. I walked in and went down the pharmacy isle until I found the pregnancy test.
Okay, now I'm scared.
