All A Lie part 5

T-"Hello? Jones? Wanna come back to earth?"

Toni waved her hand in front of my face, bringing me back from my thought.

J-"What? Yeah, sorry"

S-"We were asking where you've been. When Toni told us you had stayed with that girl that came in here, and you fell in love or some crazy shit like that-"

J-"What she said was true"

Both of their jaws drop open and Toni just smirked.

T-"I told you guys, you didn't want to believe me"

F-"Well we didn't think it was true"

I rolled my eyes and went behind the bar before popping the top off of a beer.

J-"What, you guys think I can't love a girl?"

S-"We never said that, we... we just thought that you wouldn't want to let your guard down after..."

J-"Sofia" (whispers)

They all nodded, their heads all looking down. I sighed and took a drink of my beer.

J-"You know, I forgot about her for a little while. I forgot about all the pain she caused me"

F-"We just don't want this girl to hurt you like Sofia did"

J-"SHE IS NOTHING LIKE SOFIA"

I slammed the beer down making them all jump a little bit.

J-"You know what, I'm just going to... get some sleep. I have to get back to the hospital tomorrow to pick them up"

I walked off and up the stairs into my room where I plopped down on my bed.

-Flashback-

J-"Dad can you please just let me come"

Fp-"I'm not letting you come, I can't risk it"

J-"Dad I'll be safe, I promise"

Fp-"I said no"

J-"Dad come on"

Fp-"I said no, Jug. Just stay here and take care of your pregnant girlfriend"

J-"Dad-"

Fp-"I'm serious Jug, you're not coming, end of conversation"

J-"Why can't I come Dad?"

Fp-"Because you're going to be a father in a couple of months and I couldn't explain to Sofia if I let the father of her unborn child die"

J-"But that's not going to happen, I'm going to be responsible"

Fp-"And being responsible would mean staying here and taking care of your pregnant girlfriend"

S-"Jug! The baby's kicking!"

Sofia came into the office and took my hand then put it on her baby bump as I felt my baby start to kick my hand. A smile appeared on my face as I brought her lips to mine.

Fp-"Okay, you kids run along now. I'll be back soon"

He started to walk out of the office and I kissed Sofia's cheek.

J-"Go up to bed babe, I'll be there in a second"

S-"Okay"

I walked down to my dad before he was about to leave.

J-"Dad, just... please come back. I need you, especially now with the baby coming"

Fp-"I'll be fine, son. And I know that even without me, you're going to be a great dad"(smiles)

J-"Thanks"

Fp-"I'll be fine, don't worry"

-End of flashback-

I jolted awake, sweating like crazy. Even shaking a little. I hated having these flashbacks, they were terrible and I've tried everything to make them stop... but nothing works.
