-9 months later-
All-"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Harper...Happy Birthday to you!"
We all cheered as Harper blew out her candles. Well, half spit half blew. We all clapped and laughed while Harper started to grab handfuls of cake and shove it in her mouth.
Since today was Harper's birthday we had closed the bar so we could have a little party for her. Jug, Sweetpea, and Fangs had woken up early today to decorate while Toni and I got Harper ready in her birthday outfit.
Toni begged me if she could be the photographer and I said of course she could, so she got out her best camera and was taking pictures all day.
Over the last few months, quiet a few things have happened. Sweetpea had apologized for what he had done that night, I found out that he has a problem with drinking and he is working to fix it.
I had found out that Toni has a girlfriend, Cheryl Blossom, she's also a serpent but she lives a few hours away so they do long distance, but they're the cutest couple ever. Cheryl came to visit a couple of weeks ago and Toni introduced us.
-Flashback-
T-"Betty I'd like you to meet my girlfriend, Cheryl Blossom"
I stuck my hand out and met with hers, we both shared a smile.
B-"Nice to meet you"
C-"You too"
Toni then turned to Harper and tickled her belly while Harper giggled.
T-"And this cutie is Betty's daughter, Harper"
C-"Awe! She's so cute"
B-"Thank you"
-End of flashback-
H-"TT!"
T-"I'm coming Harp!"
Oh yeah, Harper also said her first word. And no, it wasn't mama, it was TT.
-Flashback-
B-"Harper come on, it's bedtime"
She started to cry as I took her away from Toni and started to bring her upstairs.
H-"TT!" (sobs)
I stared at her then looked back at Toni who had a giant smile on her face. Harper continued to cry and Toni came and took her off my hip before bouncing her gently.
T-"It's okay Harper, TT's here"
Toni walked back down the stairs and brought her back to her play mat where she sat down with Harper and they continued to play while Harper smiled happily.
B-"Damn it Toni!" (scruffs)
-End of flashback-
J-"Betty where are the napkins!"
B-"She's gonna need a bath! See I told you it was a bad idea to let her go hands on with the cake"
I rolled my eyes as he chuckled.
J-"It's her birthday! Don't be a party pooper!"
I glared at him then picked Harper up and started to wipe her off but Jug took her and started to tickle her while Harper laughed hysterically.
H-"Dada stop!" (laughs)
