All A Lie part 30

I walked into Jug's office. The pregnancy test in my hands, my eyes puffy from crying.

B-"Jug, I have something to tell you" (sniffles)

He turned around with pure anger in his eyes.

J-"It was all a lie wasn't it?"

I looked at him with a questioning face.

B-"What?"

J-"Telling me you love me? Sleeping with me? Dating me? It was all a lie"

B-"Jug I don't know what you're talking about"

J-"I know Betty! I know that your parents are the leaders of the ghoulies!"

Tears started to well in my eyes as I looked up at him.

B-"Jug...Jug I was gonna tell you-"

I tried to walk closer to him but he moved farther away.

J-"When?! When were you going to tell me that your parents are the leaders of the gang that killed my dad?!"

Tears started to pour out of my eyes as I tried to grab his hand but he pulled away

B-"Jug I'm so sorry-" (sniffles)

J-"Betty you lied to me! And to top it all off you said you loved me then slept with me multiple times in the last year that we have been "dating." I actually loved you, I had fallen in love with you and when you told me you "loved me" I started planning how I was gonna propose to you, how we would get married, I would legally adopt Harper, we would have babies so Harper would have siblings, and we would live an amazing life"

B-"Jug we can still do all of that-" (sobs)

J-"No Betty, we can't. I don't want it with you anymore, I would never want a life with someone who has done what you have"

B-"Jug please just listen-"

J-"Get out"

My heart sank.

B-"W-What"

J-"Get the hell out and go live with your parents, they're probably just like you"

B-"Jug, wait, I-I really need you right now"

I grabbed his arm but he pulled away and walked over to the door.

J-"You never needed me, you just used me"

B-"Jug you aren't listening I'm-"

J-"Save it"

He walked out and slammed the door behind him as I dropped to the floor while sobbing.

B-"Pregnant" (sobs)
