All A Lie part 7

B-"This is amazing Jug, I love it"

J-"Good"

He showed me the rest of the small apartment and I was in awe. It was like a hotel room, with a kitchen. It was beautiful and perfect for Harper and I.

J-"I'm sorry it's not much, but I hope you like it"

B-"I love it Jug, it's more then I ever imagined"

I went over and wrapped my arms around him then pulled him into a hug. When we pulled away he was lightly blushing and I giggled.

J-"My room is across from yours and Toni's is to your right then Sweetpea and Fang's are down the hall.

B-"Thanks"

I walked over to Harper and got her out of the car seat then rocked her in my arms.

B-"This is a nice place, it's like a hotel" (chuckles)

J-"It used to be my house, when we moved in here I was only 5. My mom was a few months pregnant with my little sister, Jellybean. My dad fixed it up and turned it into an actual house to live in. After my mom had Jellybean we were all a happy family, that was until Jb's second birthday rolled around. Mom and Dad would always be fighting about stupid shit. Their fighting got so bad that Dad started drinking. Yet after a couple of months Dad got his shit together when Mom announced she was pregnant again. But a few weeks into her pregnancy she had a miscarriage, or that's what she told my dad. He later found out that she had an abortion because she found out the baby wasn't my dad's, it was our old neighbor's. Dad got so mad that he filed for divorce, once the divorce was finalized Mom took Jelly and moved to Toledo. A couple of years later we found out that she died, we were all devastated, but most of all Jelly. When she came to live with us, Jelly got mad at Dad and said that she wouldn't be dead if it weren't for him... then she went to live with our aunt. After that my dad went back to drinking, it was terrible Betty. He fell into such a deep hole I-I never thought he was gonna pull himself out of. But then he looked up my grandfathers old gang, he used to be apart of it as a kid but disappeared when he met my mom. So when he joined the gang again he was crowned king. And he found out that Toni, Sweetpea, and Fangs didn't have anywhere to live so he build these rooms, turned the house into a bar, and fixed up the apartment building. He made everyone's lives so much easier. He was a great person"

B-"Oh Jug, I'm so sorry"

He rubbed the back of his neck while looking down at his feet. I walked over to him and cupped his face with one hand while holding Harper in my other.

B-"You know that if you ever wanna talk, I'm here"

J-"Thanks" (smiles)

He took my hand and put his other hand on top of it. He looked deep in my eyes, his ocean blue eyes were beautiful. He looked at my lips quickly before meeting my eyes again. Harper started to cry and I looked away and down at her.

B-"She must be hungry, do... do you mind?"

J-"Oh no, sorry. I'll be in my office if you need me"

B-"Okay"

He smiled at me before leaving, I looked down at Harper while sitting down and sighing.

B-"Mommy's in deep now"
