All A Lie part 9

Betty's pov:

I woke up and immediately panicked, I wasn't in my bed and I couldn't find Harper. I started to search the covers until I heard someone chuckle. I looked up and saw Jug walking in the room while rocking a sleeping Harper. I put my hand on my chest and let out a big breath.

J-"You looked so tired, so I took Harper and rocked her to sleep so you could sleep"

He came over and sat down next to me then Harper in my arms.

B-"Thank you"

He smiled and kept his gaze on me as I turned my attention to Harper. We soon heard a picture being taken and we both looked up to see Toni taking a picture of us.

J-"Seriously Toni" (groans)

T-"Sorry! You know that I'm a photographer, you guys are my inspiration" (smiles)

He rolled my eyes but I elbowed him and smiled smugly.

B-"It's okay Jug. I'm sure that your photography is beautiful Toni"

T-"Thank you, Betty"

She glared playfully at Jug while I laughed at them. Harper started to coo. I looked down and smiled then kissed her forehead.

T-"Can I hold her! Pleaseeee"

I chuckled then got up and put her in Toni's arms while adjusting how she held her so she was supporting Harper's head.

T-"She's so cute! I love her already!"

Jug and I laughed as Toni started to tickle Harper's belly.

T-"Wait, I have an amazing idea! Can I do a photo shoot with her?"

I nodded while smiling.

B-"Sure, go for it"

She cheered softly because she had Harper in her arms. Then she left with Harper in her arms and went into her room. I turned to Jug and laughed while he tried to hide is smile.

J-"Sorry about her"

B-"No, don't be. It's sweet, and I'm sure Harp loves all the attention" (giggles)

I leaned up against the door frame and sighed while looking at Jughead sitting on his bed. He got up and walked over to me then stood in front of me before caressing his thumb over my cheek. I looked up and our eyes met, once again. I could feel the tension, I knew he wanted to kiss me when he looked at my lips. We both slowly leaned in but then both quickly pulled back.

J-"I-I'm so sorry. I... I should probably open the bar"

He combed his hand through his hair before we both walked out and went our separate ways. I went down to Toni's room while he went downstairs.

When I walked in Toni's room I sat her taking a picture of Harper laying down on a soft white blanket in a dark purple dress with a matching bow and pacifier.

B-"How's it going?"

T-"Good! Harper is actually one of the easiest clients I have ever worked with"

B-(chuckles)"Im surprised she actually stood still for you"

T-"Me too"

I watched as she did a few more positions with her before Harper started to cry. I picked her up and rocked her.

B-"She's probably hungry, I'll go feed her then we'll come visit you at the bar"

T-"Okay" (smiles)

She went over to Harper and tickled her belly.

T-"Thanks for being a good client today Harp"

Harper cooed before I walked out and to my room then started feeding her.
