Fp-"W-What? That's your Daddy?"
H-(nods)"I haven't seen him in a while, I miss him"
She sniffled and then sat down in my arms and cried into my chest as Fp stared at me with wide eyes.
B-"Here baby, go play with your toys while I talk to Fp, okay?"
H-"Okay"
I kissed her forehead then walked closer to Fp who had zoned out.
Fp-"I-Is it true?"
I nodded while he put his head in his hands.
Fp-"And is all stuff that you said, is...is it all true?"
B-(nods)"When I escaped here I was in labor with Harper, I showed up at some bar in need of a hospital, Jug came to my side and helped me through it all, he gave us a place to live and me a job. He helped me so much, we even fell in love. But one night, I went to tell him that I was pregnant, and he found out about the thing I had been keeping from him and kicked me out before I had the chance to tell him about the baby" (tears)
I leaned my back up against the wall and rested my hand on my belly where I felt the baby kick.
B-"I was a terrible girlfriend, and all I want is just to have him there with us. I want us all the be a family again"
He looked down, silent. The whole room fell silent until he broke it.
Fp-"Then we're going to get you two out of here"
B-"W-What?" (sniffles)
Fp-"I'm not going to let some stupid gang get in the way of my sons happiness"
B-"Really?"
He nodded and explained to me how we were going to escape. He told me how my parents always left for a 2 week meeting in about 3 months. So when they left we would be able to escape.
So we waited...and finally, the time came.
