CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: IT'S THE LIQUOR

" it's not me, it's the liquor, I swear "

Wake up. School. Practice. Study. Party. Sleep. Repeat.

Life's been like this with me for a month now and I'm not complaining. Wala namang simpleng buhay kapag marami kang gawin sa buhay para lang mabuhay talaga, I'm focused on graduating which is like three years from now.

Waking up is pretty fun, it feels like it's a new life, new beginnings kahit na kakagising mo lang. School is tiring but sometimes it could be fun especially when you study or spend time with new people that can potentially be your next friends.

Practicing is okay, but sometimes nakakapagod nang sumayaw. Instead na mainlove ako sa gawa ko, sa sarili 'kong sayaw, unti-unti na 'kong naiirita at nagagalit sa bawat galaw ko. I'm a perfectionist, I'm starting to hate my moves and cheorography, really. I'm starting to sound like my dance teachers in high school.

Studying is alright, I got used to it and so is sleeping, like I need it.

But partying? Shit. I don't like it, I love it. First time 'kong umaattend nang college party was my second day as a freshman, and here I am... attending more of them here in the campus.

Minsan naman hindi dito sa campus yung mga parties, minsan sa may mga malapit lapit na bar kasi mayayaman yung mga host ng parties, alam mo na, anak ng mga businessmen o mga celebrity and I was lucky enough to be invited by them or a friend of theirs.

I hated drinking alright. Pero nainlove ako sa vodka at red wine thanks to the second party I attended at like September? Grabe, grabe talaga ang saya.

I realized at that party how much I love partying, drinking, and just really having fun with my friends and new people. 'Di naman ako lasengero pero mahilig lang talaga ako uminom kapag 'di ako busy at pag may time ako, yun lang. Kung hindi ako busy? Inom lang tapos sayaw kasama mga kaibigan ko, pramis!

"Damn, Diana~" hiyaw bigla ni Chandria nang umupo siya sa tabi ko habang dala-dala pa niya yung baso niya nang tequila.

"What? I look good, right?" I ask with a wink.

She laughs and places the shot of tequila right in front of me with a wide smile on her face after drinking her own shot in just one go, Chandria is a beast I swear.

"Yep, you look so fucking good, Diana. That outfit? Goddamn, you're either an angel who turned evil or just a devil, seriously!" sigaw niya sabay akbay sa'kin nang mahigpit at inom pa nang tequila.

I wore something a black strapless bustier top paired with some tight jeans and black ankle boots, inayos ko pa ang buhok and made sure na bad girl ang vibe ng makeup ko tonight. It's been a while since I've done a makeup like this, hindi kasi ako masyadong sanay pero these days talagang in love ako sa look na 'to.

It feels like I'm entering a part of myself that I didn't know about, something about myself that is so new and refreshing and I can't stop it, I love this version of myself too much.

"Ikaw naman din, Chandria. But... you're sexy, like really sexy." natawa naman siya sa compliment ko, mahina niya 'kong hinampas sa may balikat ko sabay tigok nang baso ng tequila ulet.

"I know that, Diana, hello?"

"Akala ko ba kasama mo si Jaxon?" I ask, taking the shot glass and finally taking the tequila but one shot.
