CHAPTER NINETEEN: DON'T

Yael Heron Manuel is in love with Diana Francheska Aiko. Yael is madly in love with Diana which he knew was going to happen from the very moment she had confessed to him that she likes him.

She had great energy and atmosphere, she was completely different from a bunch of his classmates or any of the girlfriends he had dated before.

Her eyes, smile, hair, and just her presence... just the fact that she's around him--all are enough to drive him crazy and drive him to the corner until she couldn't take it anymore. He knew that he'll fall for her, he knew that... so when she had accidentally threatened him to give her a chance, he wasn't really annoyed.

He was a bit upset that someone had found out but Diana apologized immediately, he was surprised that she was willing to help him so he could move on from Sophia, and he thought that if it was Diana then everything is worth it.

Diana is also an amazing person, she's put up with Ryland and Jaxon, and now with him. She's done nothing but be nice towards his family too. Even his mother is in love with Diana, for some reason their mother couldn't help but want to get to know Diana even more.

"Yael!"

"Yes, ma."

"Ligawan mo si Diana!"

The surprise in Yael's eyes right at that moment was unforgettable. It was official, his mother wants Diana for him, she wants her to be part of their growing family.

The tall man blushed from his face down to his neck while inside the bathroom to calm himself down. It's driving him crazy, he knows that he's hurt her many times because of his feelings for Sophia, and after what happened... he knew that there was no way everything is going to return to the way it was.

But shit, he likes her too much. He loves her too much. He's obsessed with her smile and every little thing she does. He IS this close to just yelling it out to the world that he is in love with this woman, he really is.

He can even remember that time... that time when he'd broken her heart and it made him hesitate to talk to her again. He was scared to hurt her again. Even his brothers agreed that he was too much for Diana, and that he had hurt her too much.

"Ryland!" Jaxon calls out to Ryland with Brent's arms around him to stop the fight.

Yael was brought to the floor after the impact from Ryland's fist on his face. Yael was breathing hard but his hands are all up on his face, he was bleeding and crying at the same time, it was a lot of emotions... too much for him to process.

"Bakit, kuya? Bakit!? Bakit kinailangan mong saktan si Diana nang ganun? You promised you were not going to hurt her, if you still don't have feelings for her then you could've told me or Jaxon!" Ryland was furious, he was pissed, and upset.

Yael couldn't say anything back, he was also hurt, both physically and emotionally.

"I could've told her, Jaxon could've told her or even Brent! We could've told her so she would give up immediately but you didn't. You continued to give her that small hope that you might have feelings for her... that you do! Fuck!" Ryland snaps and curses after.

Even Jaxon is upset with Yael's actions but it's worse than Ryland's. Ryland loves Diana, not romantically but as her brother. He hates the fact that his biological brother had hurt the only woman he loved truly like this, he hates it.
