"I still can't believe how incredibly beautiful this week has been. It's a shame we have to leave already," I said to Roman as we sat in the car that took us to the airport.

"I know, but unfortunately we both have to get back to work. And I have to check if she really got all her stuff out of my house and didn't do anything stupid. Jey did say that everything went off without a hitch, but I won't be convinced until I see it for myself." he replied, putting his arm around my waist.

"Has she still not returned your calls?" I wanted to know as I looked up at him.

"No... I would like to apologize to her again properly and explain it to her, but I doubt she will let me. Besides, I'd like to say I feel awful about it, but I don't. I'm happy with my decision," he replied and pressed his lips to my forehead.

"I feel the same way. But every now and then thoughts do come up that make me feel guilty," I said, sighing.

"Yeah... I know." he sighed heavily and pulled me closer to him.

"Let's change the subject... When can we actually see each other next time? I mean, that's going to be pretty complicated to find time for us. You're on the road most of the week and on most weekends. Plus Atlanta and Tampa are almost seven hours away from each other. That's not going to be easy," I said.

"You're right. Maybe this sounds a little bold now, but what do you think about quitting your job and moving to Florida to live with me?" he asked me unexpectedly.

"Roman, I can't just quit!" I replied out of reflex.

"So? I know you don't like this job very much anyway. And besides, you can work as a real estate agent in Tampa if you want to. Or... you can finally focus more on your art. That's always been your true passion. You know yourself how much potential you have. Otherwise you wouldn't have sold a few paintings already," Roman said while his fingers slowly traced small circles on my back.

"I have to say that sounds really tempting, but... Are we ready to do this? Can this work?" I asked anxiously.

"You love me, don't you?" he wanted to know.

"Yes!" I replied simply.

"And I love you! That's all that matters, everything else will work out. All I know is that I want to spend as much time with you as possible. I want to build a life with you. I want you to be happy. Once I made the mistake of letting you go, but that will never happen again!" Roman explained.

Immediately tears came to my eyes and I shook my head, smiling.

"What did I do to deserve a man like you?" I asked, looking at him lovingly.

"Well... I'm the one who should ask what I did right to have you by my side again." he replied and gave me a loving, long kiss.

"Well, one of the things you did right was get drunk after your show in Atlanta and then show up totally hammered at my door begging me to come to your wedding. Because otherwise I wouldn't have shown up there," I said, winking at him.

"And there are some people who think alcohol is not a solution!" he joked.

"But you haven't answered my question yet. Do you want to move in with me?" he continued.

I pretended I had to think about it. But I did that mainly to make him squirm a little. For me, the decision had been made long ago.

"Yes, Ro, I will move in with you!" I reply after a few minutes of silence.

"Thanks, Muffin! I was hoping you would say that. I've already ordered a moving truck for next month." he replied with a grin.

"You what? Oh, you were pretty sure of yourself, weren't you?" I asked, surprised.

"Like you'd ever really be able to resist me, Y/N!" he growled in my ear.
