"fuck, I'm alive."I looked at my hand flexing my fingers looking around noticing I wasn't in a normal hospital room. Instead I was in my room. I noticed Luke standing in my room. He turned to me smiling "Ruby, your alive, god I couldn't be happier."he smiled "that makes one of us."I mumbled "Luke, hey listen, I gotta get out of here. Does anyone know I'm alive?"I asked "no, only me. JJ had to leave cause of something that happened with John B but the doctor said you were dead before leaving. He was sketchy anyways. So just me."he told me I nodded "look I gotta take dad's boat and leave. Tell everyone I'm dead, tell them that Ward Cameron shot me and I died before getting to a hospital. If they ask for a body just say Ward took it or something and threw me in the middle of the sea."I said his face changed from happiness to anger, his face twitched while he yelled aggressively taking his beanie off throwing it at the ground "I'm not loosing my whole family, Ruby."he yelled "you won't be! I'll still be alive."I yelled standing up not caring I was in pain or just got shot hours ago "I'm coming with you."he said "the hell you are, your nineteen fucking years old your gonna stay here and help me clean this mess up! I'm on the run, for framed murder! If I'm gonna go down I'm not taking you down with me. I won't let you."I said "now go to the police station and tell them, I'll grab some supplies I'll need and go to the boat when you get back you can come say goodbye, I don't care if you do or don't."I demanded he nodded walking out, I wasn't waiting around here any longer. I'm fucking leaving this hell whole. I walked downstairs grabbed some food and water and went out to the boat, starting it up and driving to the cut. Where I saw tents surrounded by cops and SBI. It was dark out to no way there we're gonna see me. I watched as one of the men got closer to the water looking in my direction, he turned and then a bunch of men started looking at me, I saw skx familiar faces, JJ, Sarah, John B, Poe, Kie, and Luke. I looked around me seeing police boats zooming towards me, I drove into the storm knowing it was stupid but I'd loose them. I jumped slightly hearing the radio go off "Ruby. Do you hear me? I repeat do you hear me?"Ward said on it I didn't respond "Ruby? Hey, come back here Ruby. Please."JJ was now on I wanted to respond, but I didn't. My heart dropped at the next voice "Ruby, hey, it's me, Rafe. Come back here, ok? I don't want you getting hurt out in the storm. It looks really bad from here. Just turn the boat around and come back here, I promise everything will be fine. If you just, come back."Rafe pleased I finally responded "Rafe you ruined my life. I'm on the run for something you did! You killed my dad, you killed Peterkin, you killed our baby, you shot me, your dad, shot me. I have nothing left because of fucking you! I got nothing left to loose."I whispered the last part tears brimming my eyes "I'm sorry."Rafe whispered before it cut off, than Ward came on "Ruby hey, just come back alright? I'll tell them the truth, to everything if you just come back alright? Just come back here before you get hurt."Ward pleaded "no can do Ward. Hey if I don't make it out of here, someone tell JJ I love him."I said "I love you too, Ruby. So come back here so we can be together. Please."JJ was now on, I wanted to respond. But the boat flipping stopped me from doing so.
