"how the hell did you know the code?"Sarah asked as we drove in a car I hot wired since JJ couldn't figure it out. Which he was quite upset about. "I dated you brother for two years, I know a lot of things about your family than you think."I giggled John B shushing us as he drove up to the guard, I joked around with JJ while he tried to get us in. We all cheered silently as he drove into the neighborhood Sarah pointed out which house it was. We all got out of the truck I picked the lock with one of Kiara's bobby pins I opened the door looking up at everyone, winking. "that was hot."JJ whispered as we walked in we quietly snuck over to the safe Sarah opening it this time we all had smiles on our faces, until we saw an empty safe. "You gotta be shitting me."I whispered balling my fists "fuck!"Pope yelled JJ trying to calm him down on the sidelines. "Fuck it was here before I found you guys."I yelled pulling a Rafe holding my head than elbowing something, groaning in frustration. "Don't go Rafe on us. You've been doing that a lot before you left."Sarah whispered, now that I think about it, I have been acting like Rafe.
"Why didn't you text us sooner?"JJ asked as him and I laid on two lounge chairs on a hotel roof top. "I don't know, I guess I was enjoying being here and away from everything and everyone back at him I didn't want it to end."I shrugged "how'd you make a living here? Like get money for food and stuff?"he glanced at me "you may not want to admit but I grew up a pouge, JJ. I used to steel all sorts of stuff with you guys as kids, remember?"I giggled "yeah, your right."he smiled "What'd I miss?"I looked at him "well, Kie and Pope took their relationship to another level. I feel like you didn't really miss much, but at the same time you did. Know what I mean?"he asked "no, no not really."I shook my head "shut up."he smiled softly pushing my head over "how's Luke?"I asked "Luke, he killed himself the night of your death."he said my smile dropped, I was expecting to here something like, he took it hard, but he's got a girl now and he's doing better. Not that he's dead "wow, I really have no one left now. Did he leave a note? How'd he do it?"I asked "he did it in front of everyone, when Shoupe told the others they lost you, he was convinced you were dead. So he tackled one of the cops, took their gun, and without hesitation, he put the barrel to his head, and pulled the trigger."he gulped rethinking the night "well shit."I whispered "so he killed himself because he didn't want to be the only person left in our family, which lead in me being the only person in our family? Real smooth Lucas."I whispered shutting my head letting out a sigh.
"We've gotta find that gold."John B said as we all surrounded each other, it had been an hour since I found out Luke had died and now we were all in a circle on the roof where JJ and I were. "My dad and physcotic brother are leaving in the morning, which means they'll probably load a truck with all the gold if they haven't already, they'll have to drive it to the airport which is like an hour away."Sarah told us I nodded "I have a plan."I grinned "ok, Pope and Kie can act like construction workers and tell them the roads cut off, then you guys pull guns on them tell them to get out of the truck, JJ and I will be off on the sidelines, Sarah and John B, you'll be in town with some kids but in disguises helping kids and grown people get rid of the trucks that will surround Ward and Rafe. Sound like a plan?"I explained they all nodded grinning yo each other. "Ok, let's get some shut eye, in the morning we'll get people to help us in town. Than we'll get in position. Night everyone."
