"Morning love."Rafe smiled down at me, brushing his hand over my cheek.
I smiled, placing my hand on his, "what time is it?"
"Ten, I made you breakfast, do you want me to bring it to you or do you want to eat with us?"
"I'll come down with you, just give me a minute to get ready."I sat up, stretching.
"Okay, I love you."he stood up, walking towards the door.
I smiled, walking to the bathroom.
I stared at myself in the mirror for a few minutes, then finally brushed my hair and teeth and went downstairs.
"Goodmorning honey, did you sleep good?"Rose smiled at me, sitting on the couch.
"Yeah, slept like a baby."I smiled
"Ruby, do you think we should get a dog?"Wheezie asked from the island in the kitchen.
"Depends, what kind?"I asked sitting next to Rafe at the dining table.
"Doberman."
"Ooh, I do love dobeys, I wanted one as a kid too, but my dad never got me one. I would love to have one now tho."I smiled, taking a bite of the pancakes.
"Really?"Rafe grinned at me.
I nodded with a goofy grin.
"And name it what?"
"Bear."I grinned even harder, he chuckled looking out the window then back at me.
"Of course you'd name your dog bear. Only you,"he wrapped his arm around my neck, his hand dangling over my shoulder, I locked my fingers with us smiling up at him.
"You wanted to name your kid Drew,"I giggled
"After my grandpa, I told you this a billion times."he laughed.

"It's so, different."I looked out the window down at the obx.
"Yeah, hey look, your gonna stay at tannyhill for a couple days, I gotta go take care of some business. But I'll be back before you know it I promise, Joseph is gonna be staying with you until I'm back to keep you safe, you need anything you tell him, just promise me you won't go outside."Rafe looked at me, holding my hands.
"I promise."I smiled, happy to finally be home. Maybe I'll have a chance to finally escape this lunatic.
"I love you."he cupped my cheek.
"I love you too."
He kissed my nose, then my lips.
"We're here, don't let anyone see you. Don't go outside anywhere, don't leave the property. Okay?"
"Okay."
"Promise me ruby."
"I promise."

I walked through the tannyhill mansion, memories came flooding back.
"I'll be staying in the guest room downstairs Mrs.Cameron."Joseph told me, I nodded watching him walk off in that direction.
I rolled my eyes at the name.
"Miss Black thank you very much."I mumbled walking upstairs.
I walked into Rafes room, gasping at what was on the bed.
"Oh my god."I covered my mouth with my hands, I smiled rushing over to the dog on the bed, it immediately got up sniffing me.
"Hi baby,"I scratched its head, picking up the card on the bed.
"Dear love, meet Bear, he's seven months old, I would've got a younger one but I wanted him to be strong enough to protect you in case anything happens, I love you."I read it out loud while still petting the dog.
"He makes it hard to hate him."I whispered looking down at Bear.

Three days had passed and Rafe still hasn't come home, I've mostly spent my time trying to find an escape plan, and by the pool with Bear.
Currently I was dipping my legs in the pool petting Bear.
I turned my head hearing door open and close and talking.
"Ruby!"Rafe yelled out making me fully turn, a fake smile coming onto my face.
"Shit."I mumbled, happily getting up to greet him.
"Oh I missed you."he engulfed me in a tight hug, my face getting smushed into his bicep.
"Hi Rafe,"I smiled, looking up at him, he smiled widely looking down at me.
"So you like him?"he asked, looking down at Bear.
"Yeah, I love him."I grinned down at the dog, wrapping my arm around Rafes waist, his arm around my shoulders.
"Good, good,"he smiled, looking around, "Hey I was thinking, I wanna throw a party. Here, tonight. I'm gonna go meet up with Barry and get some stuff, word is already getting around."
"Okay, that's fine. I miss having parties anyways."I smiled, he kissed my lips walking away, I crossed my arms watching him walk into the house.
"Alright Bear, tonight is our only chance. Unless he throws more, but we have to get out of here tonight."I sighed, looking down at him.
He loomed up at me, tilting his head, I smiled petting him.
"Hopefully the others are back."
