Chapter Five Understanding Ninja Way

Samurai 1: "What was with that wind earlier?"

Those are the guys that kicked the elder. I stared at the angrily as they were walking and talking about today.

Samurai 2: "But there are a bunch of cuties here!"

Samurai 1: "Once Nobakatsu let's have the girls get together and throw a party!"

Samurai 2: "He would love it! Nobakatsu loves the ladies."

Just then Kotaro sneaks up on them and grabs one of them.

Samurai 1: Ah!"

Samurai 2: "Who the hell are you? You think you'll get away with this!"

Kotaro: "When is Nobakatsu going to get here?"

Samurai 1: "What?!"

Kotaro: "Answer me. When is he coming to the village?"

Samurai 1: "Ah!"

Kotaro: "If you don't answer by three I'll take your head…one…"

Samurai 1: "…"

Kotaro: "Three"

Kotaro knocks out the Samurai and lets him fall to the ground. He then turns to the next Samurai.

Samurai 2: "You!"

The Samurai drew his sword. And went after Kotaro.
Kotaro: "…"

The Samurai draw his sword and go after Kotaro!

Slice! Kotaro cut off the Samurai's hand off! 

Samurai 2: "AHHHHH!!!"

Kotaro: "Just answer me and I will spare your life."

Kotaro points his sword at the Samurai!

Samurai 2: "OK! OK! Nobakatsu is coming tomorrow!"

Kotaro: "By what road?"

Samurai 2: "From the North Valley!"

Kotaro: "Oh such a narrow road isn't he bring an army?"

Samurai 2: "He heard that ninja's are after his life, so he took a small road!"

Kotaro: "Really?"

Samurai: "Really! Believe me!"

Kotaro: "Alright."

The Samurai sighed in relief and then Slice! Kotaro kills him! 

Kotaro: "…"

I held my mouth in shock. I couldn't believe Kotaro could do that with a straight face! Kotaro then took the bodies off somewhere.  I waited for him by the window. It had been some time since Kotaro left somewhere with the bodies. Just then there was a rattle at the door, and it was Kotaro.

Kotaro: "I'm back."

Aki: "…"

Kotaro walked over to me. 

Kotaro: "Princess."

Aki: "Stay away!"

Kotaro tried to come closer to me and I backed away.

Kotaro: "That is what a ninja has to do."

Aki: (Did he know that I was watching?)

Kotaro: "In order to keep ourselves safe, we have to get rid of them."

Aki: "Is it okay to just kill them?!"

Kotaro steps back from me and walks over to his bag. He pulls something from the bag and turns towards me. 

Kotaro: "…"

Aki: "What is that?"

Kotaro: "It's a gun. It can shoot fire."

Kotaro then sits down and starts cleaning the gun.

Aki: (I'm the ninja princess…So I must understand what a ninja does. I understand with my head… but my heart is screaming…)
