Chapter Thirty Six - Hot Springs

The next morning. 

Saizo: Take this horse to get out to the gun maker. It will take half a day. 

Kotaro: Thanks. 

Saizo: It's up to you Kotaro. You have to convince him. 

Jen Jen: Take care Aki, Kotaro. 

Kotaro lifts me up onto the horse. 

Aki: Sasuke, take care of my sister! 

Sasuke: You got it big sis! 

Kotaro jumps onto the horse behind me. 

Aki: Alright! We're off! 

They waved to us as we left the village and into the country side.

After a long day of riding we made it to the small village run by Koga Ninja's. 

Aki: Looks like we made it! 

Kotaro points over to a house on the edge of the village that seemed to be father away from the pother houses. 

Kotaro: That's his house over there. 

Kotaro gets off the horse and pulls it over to the house and ties the house up. Kotaro then helps me off the house and walks me over to the house. A man walked out of the house and looked at Kotaro. 

Craft worker: Alright then, so you are the ninja from Fuma. 

Kotaro nodded to him. 

Craft worker: Come inside and tell me your story. 

Kotaro and I went into the Craft worker's house. Kotaro told him everything he needed for the war against Nobunaga. The craft worker closed his eyes and rubbed his long beard.  

Craft worker: And you say you need around 20 guns. 

Kotaro: Everyone says you're the best in the land. Please make some for us. 

Craft worker: ... 

The Craft worker stares at Kotaro for what seemed to be forever. 

Craft worker: I only make guns for people who know how to shoot them. If you can't prove your skill, I'll have to refuse. 

Kotaro: What shall I do? 

The Craft worker points out the window. 

Craft worker: Sparrows hang out over there. A falcon hunts them. If you can shoot the sparrow and the falcon with one shot, then I will make all the guns you request of me. 

Kotaro walks over to the window and readies his gun. 

Kotaro: ... 

He closes one eye and slows his breathing down calming his nerves. 

Just then, 

BANG! 

A Falcon and sparrow slam down to the ground. 

I looked to Kotaro in shock and amazement! That was the most amazing thing I had ever seen! 

The Craft worker lets out a hardy laugh. 

Craft worker: Bawhaha, You're really something! 

The man bows to Kotaro and smiles. 

Craft worker: Come back in three days and I will have the guns for you. 

Kotaro then hands the man a note. 

Kotaro: Just one more. 

Craft worker: Ah, a special order!
