Kotaro stood and then walked away. Jen Jen grabbed my hand and pulled me into the temple. We talk to our room and started to pack.
Jen Jen: "Aki, I was wandering why you picked Sasuke to go with me."
I looked to Jen then smiled.
Aki: "Sasuke seems the type of guy that will make you smile and laugh. I want you to be able to be happy on this journey! After all its our first time leaving the village."
Jen wrapped her arms around me.
Jen Jen: "You be careful Aki…I won't want to reach to Iga and you not show up."
Aki: "I'll be fine Jen! Kotaro will watch over me. You should have a little more faith in him Jen."
Jen Jen: "I do but he's so quite…I just can't tell what he is thinking."
Ak: "Haha! I used to know a girl that was just like that! Jen the first year in the temple you never talked to anyone other than me."
Jen Jen: "That's because you stood up for me when no one else would."
Aki: "And Kotaro will stand up for me. Just like Sasuke will stand up for you!"
There was a knock at the door and Sasuke and Kotaro walked in.
Jen quickly turned around and hid her panties back into her back. Sasuke blushed and looked away.
Sasuke: "Jen Jen, it's time for us to leave."
Jen Jen: "Right! I'm sorry for wasting your time."
Sasuke: "You're not wasting my time…"
Jen hugged me one last time. I watched as Sasuke and Jen walked out the door. I noticed Kotaro was still in the room. He just stood there in silence watching my every move.
Aki: "So when are we leaving?"
Kotaro: "Sun raise princess…"
Aki: "Oh…Okay…I guess I'll see you in the morning."
I walked over to the door and opened it for Kotaro to leave, but he just staired at me.
Aki: "I'm sure Grandpa has a room for you Korato."
Kotaro: "I must all ways be by the princess's side…"
Aki: "So that means…"
Kotaro: " I will be sleeping in the same room with you."
Aki: "Oh… (This is going to be the longest night of my life! Sleeping in the same room with another man! I hope I can get some sleep tonight...)
The next morning I was a little tired. I was so nervous having Kotaro in the room. I waited for Kotaro to come out of the temple. I looked over the village and sighed. This was going to be the last time I can look over the village like this until the war is over. I bowed my head and prayed that the village will be safe from Nobunaga and his men while I am gone. I felt a hand on my shoulder and it was Kotaro, and he was wearing a white Kimono. I jumped back a little and stared at his face.
Aki: "So your wearing a kimono…"
Kotaro: "Yes."
Aki: "You don't look like a ninja anymore."
Kotaro: "That's why I changed."
Aki: "Oh…"
Kotaro: "…"
Grandpa: " Aki! I'm glad you're still here!"
Aki: "Grandpa!"
He ran over to me and handed me a package.
Grandpa: "I have been saving this for you for a few years now."
Aki: "What is it?"
Grandpa: "It's a Kimono. I have saved money to get you a nice one for parties. Now that you're a princess I think you will need this in the future."
Aki: "Grandpa…You shouldn't have!"
I hugged him tightly then pulled away and smiled.
Aki: "I don't care if were not related by blood. You will always be my grandfather!"
Grandpa: " And you will always be my granddaughter!"
I hugged him tightly then let him go. I nodded to Kotaro and we started walking down the road.
