Chapter Twenty Two - Sasuke or Goemon?

Jen Jen: Is it really ok to leave without seeing your parents?

Sasuke: Yeah… I haven’t become awesome enough ninja yet.

Sasuke has such a happy smile…It’s hard to believe a sad story is behind it. His sister dying wish was for Sasuke to become a great ninja. I don’t think I could ever ask someone to do that for me. I would want my sister to be happy and live life without and regets.

Sasuke: Also, Saizo warned me, but I’m not planning on dying anytime soon. I have to live a long time to make you happy Jen Jen!

Jen Jen: Sasuke…

Sasuke: Don’t get too distant from me, okay?

Sasuke came close to my face. My cheeks blushed red as he looked into my eyes and my heart began to beat like a drum. I get so embarrassed when he is this close to me. Sasuke pulled away and smiled.

Sasuke: Hey, if you ever fall for some other guy I’m okay with that, but I can’t stand what Lord Hanzo told you to do.

Jen Jen: …

I looked away from him.

Sasuke: Jen Jen, What do you think I want to hear?

I walked away from Sasuke keeping my back to him. I looked into the blue skies filled with white fluffy clouds and smiled.

Jen Jen: Just now, at the grave, I thought about this… and Sasuke.

I quickly turned around with joyful tears rolling down my checks.

Jen Jen: I want to be by your side. To always be there for you Sasuke.

Sasuke began to blush hard. He was speechless from what I had just said.

Jen Jen: I don’t know if that’s love, or what but… I can’t imagine a life without being by your side Sasuke.

Sasuke: Wow. I’m really happy!

Sasuke suddenly picked me up into his arms and hugged me.

Jen Jen: You’re happy?

Sasuke: Of course I am! Who wouldn’t be happy at this moment?

Sasuke suddenly bit my neck.

Jen Jen: Ouch! Why are you biting me?

Sasuke: I love you so much I could just eat you Jen Jen!

My chest is heavy but a good heavy, and my tummy is filled with butterflies as I laughed with Sasuke. Sasuke pulled my head close and whispered in my ear.

Sasuke: I wanted you to know how much I like you Jen Jen.

Later that day I was back in the Koga Castle. After a long day I wanted to go relax in the bathtub. I left my room and walked into the hallway when I saw Sasuke and Saizo talking.

Sasuke: Saizo thanks for taking me back to my home town.

Saizo: Hah! You have a soft side to you, don’t you!

Sasuke: Eeeeck! Don’t say creepy thinks like that okay?

Saizo notice me so I walked towards them.

Jen Jen: Sasuke, Lord Saizo.

Sasuke: Jen Jen are you going to take a bath?

Jen Jen: Yeah. Um, why?

Sasuke stood directly in my way.

Sasuke: Saizo. No watching Jen Jen in the tub.

Saizo: Geez, what a jealous bastard. Are you an idiot, or what?
