Several days later~ 

I was sewing on the veranda when Hanzo approached me. 

Hanzo: Princess... 

Jen Jen: Good afternoon Lord Hanzo! 

Hanzo: You're still sewing... 

Jen Jen: It's the most I can do since I'm not allowed to fight. 

I winked at Hanzo as I countied to sew. 

Hanzo: The maids have thanked you as well. The princess helps out so much they say. 

Jen Jen: That's mostly what I did back when Aki and I lived at the temple.  

I glanced down to Hanzo's sleeves and noticed they were damaged. Without thinking I stood up and got extremely close to Hanzo's face so that I could get a better look at his sleeves. 

Hanzo: Whoa! 

Suddenly Hanzo jumped back and he slammed his head into a pillar. Could he have been nervous? 

Hanzo: Ouch.... 

Jen Jen: I'm sorry I should have... 

Hanzo: You surprised me getting so close. 

I smiled and laughed a bit. 

Jen Jen: Ahaha! Sorry about that! I was just worried about your sleeves. 

Hanzo: Don't laugh please. 

Hanzo looked away quickly I think he is blushing! He does look really cute when he is blushing tho. 

Hanzo: I can see how you are a normal girl when you sew. Do you wish you could return to your old life...don't you? 

Jen Jen: I'm not a normal girl anymore Hanzo. I am a ninja who wish is to protect my sister from the dangers of this world...even if that means dressing up and acting as she does. As long as she is safe it warms my heart and calms my soul. Now's not the time for me to be complaining though. Anyways what is the status of Nobukatsu's army? 

Hanzo: Every night we ambush them. So far we've cut their numbers in half. 

Jen Jen: Wow that's great. 

Hanzo: They are so afraid they keep moving locations every night. 

A shadow started to grace over the garden. I looked up and covered my eyes. 

Jen Jen: Is that a hawk? 

The hawk descended in circled. Hanzo looked up and smiled. 

Hanzo: This is my hawk, Hayate Maru. 

Jen Jen: I've never been close to a hawk before. 

Suddenly the hawk fly down and perched it's self on my shoulder. 

Hanzo: Amazing he has only ever done that for me until now. 

Jen Jen: Animals have always really liked me. 

Hanzo: Only animals? 

I started to blush suddenly. 

Jen Jen: Hayate Maru is everyone in Iga doing okay? How's Aki doing? 

Hanzo: According to the message we received Goemon still cannot stand. 

Jen Jen: Oh... 

I started to pet Hayate Maru while bowing my head.
