Chapter Eleven Were Leaving

The next afternoon I was outside playing my Chida cards with Chiyo. 

Chiyo: Shizuka! You're so good!

Aki: Ha ha! Thanks!

Chiyo: Hey! How far apart are you and Tojiro?

Aki: Hm…maybe ten years or so?

Chiyo: Maybe? You're married and you don't know?

Aki: AH! I meant us ten! Ten years he he…

I honestly don't know anything about Kotaro. 

Chiyo: Everyone is talking about you! They say that Tojiro is so cool!

I laughed then looked down to my cards, and realized…Kotaro is really sexy.

Chiyo: How did you meet such a cool guy?

Aki: Well… that's a complicated story.

Kotaro: Shizuka

I looked up to Kotaro and smiled.

Aki: Tojiro!

Kotaro calls me over to him. The villagers were surrounding him. I think it was making him a bit uncomfortable.

Kotaro: You weren't at home, so I wondered where you were…

Aki: I'm sorry but Chiyo came by and the weather is so nice I thought it would be fun to play some cards with Chiyo. Oh and Kotaro the elder gave us some Potatoes!

I showed Kotaro the potatoes, and Kotaro looked at Chiyo.

Kotaro: Tell the elder I said thank you.

Chiyo blushed.

Chiyo: I will!

Villager 1: Nice potatoes Shizuka! Hey we have some nice wine. I'll give you some!

Aki: Wow really?

Villager 2: Shizuka here is some rice cakes!

Aki: Thank you so much!

I smiled and thanked everyone again. This village is so nice!

Kotaro: Let's go Shizuka.

Kotaro lead me back to the house, and I began to wander if Kotaro would be a little better with people.

Kotaro: Princess…please tell me when you are going to leave the house.

Aki: I'm sorry that I left without saying anything.

Kotaro: I'm sorry to be so demanding, but if anything were to happen…  

Aki: Kotaro, you sure worry a lot.

Kotaro: Of course I worry you are the princess. 

I realized I said something dumb. It's his job to worry about me.

Aki: These potatoes look great! I'll cook them up, okay?

I began to cook the potatoes and I flipped them up into the air.

Aki: Tada!

Kotaro: …

Kotaro is starting at me so intensely.

Aki: Sorry everyone says not to play with your food.

Kotaro: No... I was just thinking that is I had a wife like you life would be fun.

A silence filled the room. What was he thinking?

I finished dinner and we sat down together and ate.
