Chapter Nineteen - Koga's Secret Pass

Narrated By Jen Jen

 Sasuke and I left early in the morning. I couldn’t say good bye to Aki so I left her a note. Not too long after leaving we met up with Goemon and Hanzo in the mountain pass.

 Hanzo: Well then, let’s head to Koga! After all that trouble to gather in Iga, but as it stands we cannot face Oda’s army there. We’ll recoup along the way to Koga and strike back!

 Jen Jen: I hope Goemon’s plan will work.

 Goemon: Of course it will! It’s my plan after all princess!

 Jen Jen: Haha…

 I really wanted to punch that smart ass in the face, but that wouldn’t be princess like. While walking in the mountains Saizo struck up a conversation.

 Saizo: It seems Kotaro is heading to Koga as well.

 Jen Jen: Really? I would have though he would have stayed behind in Iga.

 Saizo: We will need him for his expert gun skills. By the way…Are you doing it with Sasuke?

 Jen Jen: WHAT?!

 Saizo: Calm down and just answer me.

 Saizo stared right into my eyes waiting to her my answer.

 Jen Jen: Were not doing it! Whatever it may be!

 Saizo: Ah ok. Well…It seems you’re just driving up his passion.

 I really don’t understand why Saizo would ask me such as weird question. Then it hit me as a flash back flew into my mind when I was training with Sasuke and Saizo.

 Sasuke: I can wait though. I’ve decided for you to decide Jen Jen!

Sasuke sure does seem happy as I looked over to him. I could feel my cheeks getting warm as I looked at the side of his face. I’m not even sure about my own feelings.

 Saizo: Are you listening to me?

 Jen Jen: Huh? Sorry I spaced…

 Saizo glared at my angrily.

 Saizo: By the way, once we get to Koga try not to get any closer to him.  

 Jen Jen: Huh? Why?

 Saizo looked away from me as he sighed.

 Saizo: It’s for your own sake.

 Saizo then walked faster to catch up to Sasuke. I started to wonder what Saizo meant. “For my own Sake?” What does he mean by that?

 Afternoon hit us as we came up to a bridge. Goemon stopped and looked at me.

 Goemon: Once we cross this bridge princess there will be a cave on the other side. Inside that cave is a secret passage that leads to Koga.

 Sasuke: Did you dig that secret pass to attack Koga?

 Goemon: Yes…As you know Iga and Koga were enemies for many years.

 Just Then BANG!

 The sudden sound of gunshots made me look around for the person who shot off the gun.

 Hanzo: Dammit! Are Oda’s gunners already here?!

 BANG BANG!

 Jen Jen: Lord Hanzo, Look!

 A sudden crowd of soldiers are running towards us!

 Goemon: Lord Hanzo, please go ahead across the bridge. I will hold them here.
