"The economic uncertainty driven by the Law charges and other new lunch resort business has pushed struggling companies over the edge into bankruptcy proceedings. Our company is one of those businesses facing bankruptcy. I'm sad to say that we are closing today and this is goodbye." Ano!!!

"1340 plus 3468 minus 235 divided by 21 equals?" I whisper while reading my son's homework. Why do kids these days have this kind of question on their homework, samantalang ako highschool ko na natutunan mag divide and I was 12 years old already at that time.

I was about to turn my back and call for help from a calculator when, "4796.80952381 or 4796.81" my lips literally parted when he answered it so fast. Nanlaki ang aking mga mata ng harapin siya at makitang tila wala lang sa kanya ang pagsolve sa math question na iyon.

"6789 plus 1349 minus 456 divided by 90 equals 8132.93" halos bumagsak ang aking panga ng panoodin siyang i-solve ang homework niya. "Hindi mo na pala kailangan ng tulong ko" Sambit ko at nag krus ng braso sa aking dibdib.

He fixes his glasses, "I didn't ask for help Ma, ikaw po ang nagpupumilit tulungan ako" sambit niya at tila hindi ako binigyan ng kahit konting sulyap. Hindi ko alam kung pilosopo ba ang anak ko o sadyang ganito lang talaga siya makipag usap.

"Hmf!" agad kong nilingon ang tumawa sa aming likuran, at tiningnan siya ng masama. "Kasi naman Jan, alam mo namang matalino yang anak mo, sisiw lang sa kanya yang homework niya kaya dapat hindi kana nag-abala pa hahahaha" Seah said while ironing her uniform. She laughs so loud that's why I glare at her and look at Willow. "Willow oh!!!" sumbong ko pero tumawa lang si Willow at umiling-iling.
