Chapter 19

"GET OUT!!!" I was instantly stiff when he shouted at me, giving those dark but blank eyes. Wala akong makitang kahit anong emosyon sa kanyang mukha, I nodded, shook my head and step out of his office.

I gasp for air as I step out and blinked a number of times, just to make everything sink into my brain. Did Ash just treat me like what he normally treats other employees?

That thought sends shivers of pain in my chest for no reason. Napahawak ako sa aking dibdib dahil doon, bego dahan-dahan akong naglakad palapit sa akin table. I sit on my chair and start working even though my brain is not working.

I feel stuck in that thought for a couple of time, napapaisip ako kung galit ba siya sa akin? O may ginawa ba akong hindi niya nagustuhan habang wala siya?

I bit my nail while thinking of the possible reason for him to be that mad at me, but there's only one thing that pops-up in my mind. What I've said that day to him, I know that's the reason.

"Magsosorry naman na ako eh, hindi mo lang ako hinahayaang magsorry" I whisper, and speaking of the devil agad akong napaupo ng maayos ng bumukas ang kanyang pinto at ilang saglit lang ay lumabas siya na may dalang files.

He put it on my table and said, "Re-print it" he seriously said but those eyes didn't meet mine. I was waiting for him to look at me but after saying that, he left.

Tiningnan ako ang files na tinutukoy niya at bigla akong natigilan ng makitang ito yung mga tinapos kong i-reprint last week habang wala siya ah, bakit papaulit. Dahil doon agad akong tumayo dala-dala ang mga files upang habulin siya.

"SIR!!!!!" I shouted, making him stop in front of the elevator and glance at me with frowned brows. "What now?" he seriously asked. He avoided my gaze again and continued glancing on his wrist watch.

"I've finished this last week Sir, may I know why you would want to reprint this copy?" I asked and showed him the inside files. "I'm not satisfied by its format, so change it" he said.

"Pero Sir. ito na ho ang nafinalize na copy, matatagalan po tayo if inulit pa ang format nito" pagpapaliwanag ko, because it took me the whole week to finish this format, and this is the most use format of the company reports.

He smirked and say, "If you can't do it, then better work on your resignation letter, I would be nice and let you make one before I fired you for your unprofessional excuses" he firmly uttered, he was about to turn his back on me but I stop him and held his arms.

"Ash---" he cut me, "Don't call me that" he darkly whispered.

Dahil doon dahan-dahan ko siyang binitawan at pinanood na umalis hanggang sa magsara ang elevator. What he said just feels so uneasy, talaga bang nagalit siya sa akin dahil sa mga sinabi ko?

I hit my head with this files and whisper, "Tanga-tanga Jan" bumalik ako sa table ko at walang choice kung hindi ulitin ang ginawa kong format, binago ko ang lahat simula sa umpisa.

"Haaah kaya mo ito Jan" I look at myself in the mirror before I flash a faint smile, and start working again. I didn't take lunch break for this and when Ash came back in his office, he stops in front of my table and say, "Bring me some coffee in the boardroom" utos niya bago pumasok sa kanyang opisina at lumabas din kaagad para tumuloy sa boardroom.

Nanghina dahil sa pangangalay ang aking mga hita pero pinilit ko pa ring tumayo. My stomach is already making a weird sound because I'm hungry but there is no time for me to eat, I need to finish those reprints. Tumuloy ako sa pantry upang magtimpla ng kape ni Ash.
