•Chapter- 1•

"You have to come soon anyways beta. Why not now? You are anyway setting up your new venture in Mumbai. And we are also planning on introducing you to the world finally at the ball" Papa said seriously and I sighed.

"Papa! I understand! But I also have to sort through the reports here and I'll start in a week after it's done!" I said and he immediately started his dramatics.

"I miss you, princess! I haven't seen you in a year because of your work and you also restricted me from coming to you!" He said with a sad pout and I chuckled at his antics.

"That's because the doctor told you not to travel after you strained yourself so much and I couldn't come because of starting up my own company and getting it bigger" I stated as a matter of fact and he rolled his eyes.

"Whatever, I want to see my daughter already and I am ordering you to come home right now" he said and a laugh came from beside him.

"Spare him this misery and come, home princess. We all miss you. Especially Anjali! She complains about you not settling with us already. And not to forget your other aunts who are ready to eat us alive if you don't come back soon!" Viju Uncle said from the side and I laughed.

"Awww! Fine! I'll start tomorrow itself and I'll be there by day after tomorrow morning or afternoon. Cool?" I asked making them squeal.

Yepp! Squeal. Two of the six founders of the 'Hexad' squealed just now like kids despite being the most powerful businessmen around the world. Whoever said they are serious and strict should definitely see this.

"I am right away calling Anjali and telling her this. Not to forget the others! You call and tell Sia and Tara too!" Papa said and disconnected the call.

I sighed happy and content to see that smile on my dad's face. I closed my laptop and got up from my bed and went out to see my grandparents cracking jokes with each other.

"Hello, lovely people!" I said pushing myself between them. My grandma caressed my face before asking.

"What did Sashi say?" She asked and I snickered.

"Your son is a total baby! He was demanding me to come home like a kid" I said and she smacked my head.

"My son loves you so much silly!" She said and my grandpa chided her.

"Why are you hitting her? She just wanted to stay for another week to get work done. Being a big shot businessman, your son needs to understand that" he said and I laughed at them.

"It's fine anyways! I am leaving tomorrow itself. I told Papa about it and even Viju Uncle insisted on that. They apparently want to introduce the new gen of 'Hexad' to everyone at the ball which is being hosted by the end of this month" I said and they nodded their head. My grandma suddenly got up with a gasp making me jump in fright.

"Oh my god! You are going tomorrow! I have to make some laddoos for Sashi and his friends so they can enjoy them! I'll also pack some for all of them! Also, Anjali and Bhavya wanted me to send some of your crochet work for decoration and I'll pack them too. Offo! How can I do everything when you tell me that you are leaving at the last minute!? Couldn't you tell this news sooner!?" She grumbled and I rolled my eyes.

"I feel so blessed to think that you will shed some tears over missing me grandma" I said with a smile and she twisted her lips.

"Why would I miss you? Finally, I'll have some peace not to forget much-needed peace after this tornado is gone" she said and I narrowed my eyes at her but she smirked before going off to complete all her important 'chores' as she said.

"Before this lady makes a mess and, fuss over everything herself, I'll go help her" Grandpa said with a smile shaking his head and going off behind her.

I leaned back in my seat and smiled as I heard my grandpa telling my fussy grandma to calm down.

I looked around the house where I lived for the past 13 years. Now, I am permanently shifting to Mumbai and I am going to be living at my other home.

My heart swelled in happiness as I remembered how I'll be meeting my best friends, my dad, and all my uncles and aunts.

I am Arvi Arora, the 25-year-old daughter of Sashank Arora. One of the founders of 'Hexad'. One of the richest and most successful business empires in the world. I have done my studies in creative arts and literature. I have my own company "Knit Bits" which I have started a half year ago and it's already gaining a lot of popularity. I design and knit various kinds of designs and patterns and I also do resin art and paintings and sketchings. I also conduct workshops and events to connect art to the world. I am opening my new branch in Mumbai and that is where I am shifting now.

Nine years ago, I came to Banglore to live with my grandparents. It's not a decision I made, but it's a decision I went by. I missed Mumbai. Where I grew up and where I learned many things. But, I had to come and stay here. And so I did. I missed my dad, my best friends and my family there.

For me, it's not just my dad who is my parent figure. Viju Uncle, Kishu Uncle, Ankit Uncle, Raj Uncle all of them are my dad's. And their wives are my mom's. They always loved me dearly. Each one of them. Sia is my best friend along with Tara, our little princess. We all used to meet but not every day like we wanted to. But, now we can.

Avika, my other best friend, whom I met in Banglore is also going to come to Mumbai. She is going to come later after I go but we are going to manage my company together. She is my partner. We both met in junior college and hit it off pretty much in a very less time. And we share the same dream so here we are.

Going back to Mumbai is exciting and nervous. The place I left, the place I'll be meeting everyone I know again........I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Mumbai.......here I come.
