"Is she okay?" I asked as soon as I rushed inside the house.
"She is NOT! I swear to God I'll start crying now! My head hurts with all the consolation I did but your wife won't stop crying. Her hormones are on a drive and I am done! Please Bhai! Do something and get her to stop crying" Tara said and went to her room looking utterly tired.
I sighed and went to my room, hoping my wife stopped crying, only to meet with an utterly messy room and a heavily pregnant, crying wife sitting in the middle of our messy bed.
Oh yes, my habibi is 8-months pregnant. I still can't believe that fact but I am getting there. After all, we are due in a few weeks so the realization is hitting me strongly.
It's been two years since we got married and the best two years indeed. Personally and professionally we both have grown so much. We wanted to take our time before we have kids and it happened unexpectedly. We haven't actually talked about having kids but on Arvi's birthday last year, she told me that she is pregnant and there was no turning back from that. Life has been extremely eventful since then.
Our whole family is excited to welcome the newest addition and more than us, they are hyper to see the baby.
Speaking of our family, everything has been so far smooth. We have our own ups and downs here and there whether it's our careers or silly arguments within us but nothing we couldn't solve together.
Taran and Avi got married last year and even Sia and Ray got married right after them. Ehaan introduced his girlfriend to all of us and they want to take some time before getting hitched. Tara, on the other hand, is seeing someone called Ashish and as per my knowledge, she is planning to introduce him to us soon.
All in all, life's going well! Except for the pregnancy hormones at the moment. When Arvi got pregnant, everyone, and I mean everyone, warned me about those. But I was a little nonchalant thinking it will be fine and that everyone goes through those. Except, it bit me back in the ass once Arvi began getting more crankier every second.
It was fine in the beginning, her morning sickness was light and she had normal food cravings at normal times. Since her third trimester started, it became......intense.
She has cravings at odd times and dealing with office work all day and at night became difficult. Arvi began to get irritated very easily due to her body pains and her own mental state. It's cute sometimes and then sometimes it's not.
Things went a little rocky for us one day when we both argued so much. It was last month when Arvi shouted at me for not giving her enough time and I was super tired from work that I snapped back at her. Things got out of hand until Arvi got tired and felt dizzy and I slapped my head hard for being an idiot arguing back with her. This pregnancy has made us both realize more things about each other.
