I am sure at least once everyone will have the feeling to murder someone with just their eyes as they glare at that person so hard, it can burn them alive. Or maybe once in your lifetime, you will, if you haven't yet.
I am feeling the exact same thing right now as I glare at that lizard. Harish Uncle and Naina his daughter and Abheer's cousin came over a while ago and ever since she did, all she does is give 'fuck me' eyes to Abheer and I wanna gauge her eyes out.
"She will actually burn alive, I am afraid if you keep glaring at her babe" Avi said from beside me and I huffed, looking away.
My eyes met Abheer's amused ones and he raised his eyebrow at me. I pouted at him and his eyes softened. He looked down at his phone and typed something and I immediately heard my phone ping.
'It's okay baby. She is not gonna stay here for long anyways. They are leaving the day after tomorrow so don't worry. Even I wanna punch her in the face. Her staring is making me uncomfortable' his text read and an instant smile came over my face.
I looked up and he kept a sad expression and I bit my lip, trying to stop myself from chuckling.
'Awww!! I know. I can see you being uncomfortable. Let's sneak into your room in a bit and I'll give you so many kisses' I replied and looked up to see his face lit up.
I smiled looking away so that the elders won't catch it and that's when I heard my name being called.
"So Arvi beta. How is everything going on here?" Harish Uncle asked me and I smiled at him politely.
"It's going well Uncle" I replied and he nodded his head. He always came off as a creep to me since I was a kid and it's still the same.
"How much money did you give her for her startup Sashi Bhai?" Harish Uncle asked and I narrowed my eyes at him.
His question was off and the tone of his voice was haughty. He always had the habit of comparing me, Sia, and Tara to his daughter and it always irked us.
"Sashi did not give her any money Harish. My angel did everything on her own. She got a job when she was studying itself, saved money, and later got investors ready to put in money into her plan with such finesse and she did everything on her own. And of course, our Avi too was with her in all this. Both of them built their franchise on their own" Udit Uncle said looking proud and I gave him a soft smile.
"That's nice! You are very lucky Sashi Bhai for having a daughter like Arvi!" He said forcing a smile and I am sure everyone caught on.
"Arvi beta, how are things with your mother? Have you met her yet?" He asked turning to me with a wicked smile and I looked at him rather bored.
"Well, you sure know my family story Uncle. What do you think? Should I meet her after all that?" I asked and he stammered.
Kishan Uncle immediately changed the topic and the elders did the talking while we youngsters chatted amongst ourselves not exactly paying heed to the lizard when she spoke up.
