"Arvi! How many times have I told you not to pick on those fruits? Come on eat them!" Mom scolded Arvi as she picked on her fruits again. A habit she has had since she was a kid. She doesn't like eating fruits and that always got her in trouble.

Arvi scrunched up her face and ate as Maa scolded her and I looked down at my plate.

She is trying to act nonchalant, she is trying to cover up her dark circles saying she didn't sleep properly, and she is trying to hide the fact that she got a nightmare on her first day back here.

I know about her nightmare. It was around 3 in the morning when I was coming back from my study and I heard a light scream from her room. I frowned as normally, the rooms are sound-proof so no one will be able to hear anything but I noticed that she didn't lock the door and it was half open. I rolled my eyes and thought of her irresponsible nature of not locking up is still there from childhood.

I peeked in to see she was panting and was almost in tears as she rubbed her hand on her face breathing heavily. That's when I knew she had a nightmare and I have an idea about what it could be.

I was about to knock on the door and go in when Taran came up behind me and called.me for something. When I saw her drinking some water and laying down again, I closed the door slowly and walked away with him.

Today morning when I saw her, I could see the puffy eyes and nose she sported and covered up saying a new place and all that crap.

Arvi is wise and she knows where to talk and where to not. She always thinks of the betterment of others and that never changed.

She has always been this quite bubbly girl with lots of smiles and lots of secrets. And she is still the same. I observed her keenly as she ate her breakfast.

There is just something about her which intrigued me since I was a kid. Whatever happened in her life, we all are aware of it only to a certain level. Nobody knows what Arvi went through because Arvi never let anyone know what happened to her except....

She noticed my gaze on her and looked around to check if I was looking at her. When she realized I am, she raised an eyebrow and I didn't respond. When she saw that I wasn't making any reaction but just looking at her, her cheeks heat up a little and she looked down at her plate munching as if nothing happened and it made me smile.

"Arvi, we have to tell you something" Kishan Uncle said and she looked up nodding her head for him to continue with a mouthful of food.

"We planned the party today night itself" Ankit Uncle said and her mouth fell open with some of the food spilling down.

"Ewww! Arvi!!! Manners!" Ehaan kept a disgusted face and Arvi ignored him and swallowed her food, wiping her mouth.

"But dad said it's at the end of this month" she asked in an accusing tone.
