Time flies by real quick sometimes that all you want to do is sit and live in the moment trying to take control over the passing time. And that's something I have experienced ever since the whole kidnapping fiasco.
That day was something. I don't even know how much courage I poured in tackling that situation like that. I am glad that no one was injured and we were atleast a little bit prepared. We finally got a closure for Navya Maa. Udit Uncle beat the shit out of Ravikant Mehta. He is rotting in jail now with a verdict of lifetime imprisonment.
Rakesh Mehta helped us out during the whole thing providing evidence for the murder, kidnapping and also attempt to murder on Abheer.
The whole family was shaken up, even Rayaan's maternal grandparents came down here from Ahmedabad and they were distraught. It took some time to calm everyone down.
It's been two weeks since the whole thing and in two weeks, our wedding is there. Maybe the whole past thing shook me up that even though I enjoyed the engagement I was still clouded in thoughts. Now that I feel much relieved after all that, the reality is sinking in way deeper that I am getting married. Very soon!
Currently, I am having a very hectic schedule. I don't remember the last time I slept without dreaming about all the things I have to do the next day. My sleep schedule is crap and my work schedule is crap making me extremely cranky. And that's the same case with Abheer. He is in London right now for some work. Ehaan and Rayaan also went along with him. We are trying to complete a considerate amount of work before the pre-wedding rituals start.
"Avi, I am done with four orders. I also packed them up. How many more do I have again?" I asked entering Avi's office room only to see it completely messy just like mine and her completely engrossed in packing an order, just like I was a while ago.
She looked up at me and I showed her the pictures I took of the end results before I packed them.
"They look awesome babe!!! Also, I sent your painting for framing and it will be back tomorrow evening. I sent a message to the customer that it will reach them by day after tomorrow afternoon"
"That's great! How many more again?" I asked and she looked into her notebook.
"You have two more sketchings with a customised scripture inside. One resin light frame with a customised design. And a vintage frame with the text the customer sent. That's three more. Sketching is due in five days, resin frame in six days and the vintage frame in.....yeah five days" she said and I groaned out loud.
"Three more?! Ughhhh!!!!" I whined with a crying face making her chuckle.
"Well, we don't have any big orders until after your wedding and you have completed your part. And I already divided them among Shreya and Peter so it's all good. Or do you want me to take on those? I can do that. You have already worked on ten projects already and it's too much" she said and I shook my head.
