Author's Note

I feel bad about quitting this one so close to the end but I started to really hate how it was turning out. So just as an explanation for what happens, here you go:

Cristina and Addison actually end up together. Idk, I just think they would be good together and greys obviously made a mistake when they made Cristina straight. Mark, I'm sorry, ends up alone. If you want you can believe that eventually, he found lexie and they lived happily ever after far far far away from any planes. 

Derek and Amelia don't really makeup. I really dislike Amelia so... I'm not giving her a happy ending. Maybe she found Link somewhere or found Ryan and he didn't die. Dealers choice. 

Meredith muddles through the rest of her pregnancy, uncomfortable, angry at her stupid colleagues who dislike Derek. Then she finally has the baby. Derek proposes to her while she's in labor (because he's an idiot) and she yells at him a lot (because he's an idiot) but says yes. They name their son Mark Christopher Shepherd and they both take off like two months for maternity and paternity leave, and by the time they get back, everyone at the hospital finally respects Derek and Meredith. Little do they know, while they were away Cristina put the fear of God into every single person in that hospital so that they wouldn't say a word against Meredith or Derek. 

Meredith and Derek have a long engagement, they decided that even though they have a kid, they wanted to explore their relationship a bit more casually. (like go on dates and stuff) even though they were engaged and living together. Derek builds a house on his land and they end up getting married about three years later. It's a huge wedding, basically, the whole hospital is invited and they get married on their land. They have two more kids, both girls one named Audrey and the other name Ellie.
