Citrus Fanfic

CHAPTER 27

Yuzu woke up to find that her lover was not in bed with her. She looks on her lovers pillow and finds a note. Feeling anxious about reading she picks it up.

“My dearest Yuzu. I have had to go to work as I have lots I need to catch up on. I will be home late tonight as I need to go to our apartment. I did not want to wake you up as you need your rest. If you need to go out please call our driver he will take you anywhere. Love You”

“love you too Mei" She says aloud.

“That’s it” She screamed.

“What’s it" Harumin said standing outside her door.

“I’m going to purpose to Mei. Help me get dressed I need everyone’s help.”

Harumin helps her get dressed and wheels her into the dining table where everyone is eating pancakes. Looks like papa stepped up again and made all my friends breakfast. Hope they don’t get ill. Once Yuzu gets to the table she looks at her papa and speaks to him.

“Papa is Mama awake"

“Yes she will be out shortly"

“it’s taking her longer to get ready she is showing already"

“OK ill wait as I need help from everybody who is sitting here at this table"

All of her friends are looking puzzled.

“I will explain everything I just want to wait for mama"

They all carry on eating breakfast when Ume comes and sits down next them. She grabs a couple of pancakes and starts to eating this is when Yuzu grabs her hand for a bit if support. Ume just looks at her daughter wondering what she is doing.

“My friends are my family and I need your help"

Looking at her daughter face Ume could see that what was coming.

“I want to ask Mei to marry me. I sort of did ask a few days ago but she turned me down. I want to try and make it special for both of us. I would like to propose to her in the same place I first confessed to her. I would like all off us to take a trip next week but for me to this I need help.

Harumin and Mama. I need you to help me buy her a new ring. I don’t need a new outfit.

Sara and Nina I Need you too there for support.

Matsuri I will need you to play look out

Himeko I will need you to go to the school on the day and drop off her outfit. That I have already bought her. Once you dropped it off walk straight out and say nothing.
I will handle the driver, the travel and the hotel as we will need to stay for a least 1 night.

Papa I would actually like to speak to you in private.

I know I am asking a lot from all of you but this is what I want. As I have said I want to do this next week before I move in with her. So please will you help me"

Everyone is stunned at what she is saying. Ume was the first person to speak.

“Hunnie I’m really happy for you. It seems like you know what you want. I will help out as much as I can and I would love to go shopping with you and I think I speak for everybody here. We all are with you.”

Harumin says “Shopping for and engagement ring, something new I’m in"

Himeko says “I’m with that plan"

Both Sara and Nina say “let’s do this"

“Yes I finally get to spy on Mei. Cannot wait"

Yuzu looks at all her friend stands and bows with tears streaming down her face.
