Ari, Kabede, and Sammy were all lead to a section of the jail that was inhabited by men, Ari doing pull ups on the top bars before jumping down and sitting next to Sammy. "Any idea where they're taking Addi? This is a men's jail, I'm surprised they even brought her here." Ari mumbled, looking down before over at the door when he saw my body being drug through the walkway. "She'll be killed if she's thrown in with men!" Sammy stated, scrambling up as Kabede and Ari followed, rushing to the bars. "Or worse." Kabede whispered, watching as they set me in the hallway, chaining me to the bars. "Really, this is far too much, where am I going to go?" I asked, looking up at the guards before a kick was placed in my stomach, making me groan out. "Fair enough." I mumbled, leaning my head back, sighing as I looked over at Ari. "This is why I'm done." I told him, shaking my hand against the bars.

He looked over at me before looking down, his body language somber as he watched me be poked, kicked, slapped, prodded, and humiliated before all the men, my nose dripping blood as I sighed, leaning my head against the bars, my eyes closing in exhaustion and pain. "Let her go." A man spoke, causing all of us to turn to the man who spoke. "Walton." I smiled, reaching up for his hand as he lifted me up, my body leaning against him as I groaned, wrapping an arm around my ribs. Sammy rushed up to me, his palms resting on my cheeks as I smiled, feeling him wipe the blood from under my nose. "I'm out too." He whispered, tears forming in my eyes as I pressed my forehead to his, tears rolling down both of our cheeks. "Come on you four." Walton said, letting go of me as Sammy helped me out of the prison, towards Walton's car, Ari staring daggers into our backs. "What the hell was that about?" Ari yelled, while I turned to look at him. "What are you talking about?" I asked, shaking my head as I leaned against the car for support.

"What you two just had, what the hell was that?" Ari spoke, approaching me quickly before I placed my hand on his chest stopping him. "Sammy helped me while you were over there chatting away with Walton, it was nothing more than that." I stated, climbing into the backseat. "So a London flight at 5, then where to?" Walton asked before Ari said goodbye to Kabede, joining us in the car as Walton drove us to the airport. "Jerusalem's prime minister would love an interview with you Mrs. Thomas." Walton spoke, calling me by my fake last name and  looking at me through the rearview mirror. "No thank you." I replied, laying my head back, the airport approaching us quickly. "Thank you for the ride Walton, we'll see you again eventually." Ari said, grabbing the bags as we all climbed out of the car, heading to our flight. I sat alone, away from Sammy and Ari, just closing my eyes and finally relaxing.

When we landed I walked up to a car, throwing my bag in the back before turning to see Sammy and Ari walk towards me. "Addi, please reconsider." Ari whispered, grabbing my hands as I looked at him and Sammy. "Not a chance, I almost died Ari, I was beat in a prison for simply being there." I stated, pulling my hands away. "I'm out too Ari." Sammy said, throwing his stuff in the back of my car before walking to the drivers seat. "What? Why?" Ari asked, scoffing at the both of us. "You may be lucky Ari, you always find a way out of something, but what happens when the luck runs out huh?" Sammy asked, opening up the door. "So you two are what? Just going to walk away while there are still people out there suffering?" Ari asked, slamming his hand on the car. "Do you ever just think about anyone else?" I asked, seeing him scoff before turning around. "Yeah, I think about all those Ethiopians suffering. Every damn day Addi." Ari stated, looking at me dead in the eyes. "And your kid? Do you think about her? Do you think about the risk you're putting on her with her father locked away forever? Or what about me? Huh? The fact that I could face years in prison for helping you, or Sammy? Do you think about him? The fact he can lose his medical license?" I asked, crossing my arms as Ari looked back and forth between the two of us.

"The world sees you as a hero Ari, and they should. But we're just an ex girlfriend and a best friend who follow you through hell because we trust you. And risk everything we have to do that. So maybe, just maybe consider that before you send us off to be another piece in your game of chess." Sammy stated as I climbed into the passenger side, slamming the door. "And where are you guys going to go?" Ari asked, turning to look back at the car waiting for him. "I'm going to your daughter, and your ex wife because they've asked to see me." I stated, seeing his head snap towards me. "And I'm going back to the clinic. Good luck Ari." Sammy replied, driving off as I leaned back, feeling tears well up in my eyes as Ari became just a distant figure in the night. "You okay?" Sammy asked, looking over at me as I nodded. "Yeah, just take me to Maya's please." I whispered, as he nodded, pulling up outside the house.
