A/N: A shorter chapter, I'm sorry! I just am super busy the next few days and wanted to give you guys something for this book! Thank you so much for your support!

"Land base to sea base." I spoke through the radio, making my way down to the beach, looking over my shoulder where Rachel was sitting, her eyes on me as I continued my path. "SB to LB, what's the drill?" The captain spoke, hearing the glowstick break, waiting for a response. "Drop the boats, I'm here." I stated, putting the radio in my back pocket, waiting for the buzz of the boats. It took 3 minutes before I heard the engines buzzing as they approached, my right hand with the glowstick going up in the air waving to direct them to the beach. The boats all turned around, slowing backing towards the beach while I got into the water, securing a rope to each one to get them in place.

The air in the night was warm, a slight breeze that would keep you cool, but the water, oh god was the water so cold. The water soaking through my jeans was sending a chill up my spine, helping the drivers on the beach while we awaited Ari and the team. "So how long?" One of them small boat drivers asked, looking around to make sure we weren't spotted. "Guy, eta please." I spoke into the radio, looking around as their was no response. "I'll be right back." I told the men, quickly rushing up to Rachel's room. "Where are they?" I asked, kneeling next to her as she quickly worked the radio stations, trying to see why they weren't responding. "What the hell is going on?" Ethan called to us through the radios. "Well let you know as soon as we do." Rachel replied, muting his channel.

Ari and Sammy were driving down the road with all the Ethiopians in the back, both their eyes locking on the sudden road block that appeared. "That wasn't there when we passed by earlier." Sammy spoke quickly looking over at Ari who was scanning the road. "We can't fail on our first mission.." Ari sighed, looking in the side mirrors at Max and Jake who were oblivious to what was going on. Sammy sighed, looking over at Ari who shot him a pleading look, pulling the cloth back that separated the drivers from the passengers. "Everyone hold onto to something! Hang on!" Sammy sighed, looking back at the Ethiopians before back at Ari who had the radio in his hand. "I'm going to tell Max and Jake to go dark, then we'll unplug the radio." Ari stated as Sammy nodded, wrapping his hands around the cords. "Max, Jake, radio silence, go dark." Ari stated, watching as they flipped off their lights, while Sammy pulled out the wires.

"What does he mean radio silence?" Ethan asked, while I unmuted the channel. "Aly what the hell is going on?" Ethan asked again, irritation rolling off his tongue. "Ethan, with all due respect you've kept Angela and I indoors during this mission, so I have no answers for you." I replied, trying my best to bite my tongue as Rachel looked over at me, a sad look on her face as I sighed, pressing my palm to my forehead. "You're keeping the daughter of the founding members of the Mossad indoors Ethan?" Barak asked, looking over at Ethan who sighed, his head bowing down in front of his boss. "Sudan is dangerous. I didn't want women on this trip to begin with." Ethan muttered, shame filling his chest. Barak grabbed the radio from him, pressing down on the button. "Aly, you get your ass out there and make sure those Ethiopians are safe. You and Angela are not to listen to any of Ethan's orders, make wise decisions." Barak snapped, while I looked over at Rachel, a prideful smile on my lips while we nodded. "Yes sir."

"Now!" Sammy yelled, watching as Ari leaned forward, flipping on the lights, shock showing on the soldiers faces as they dove out of the way, the beat up trucks barreling through their stop block, sighs leaving Ari and Sammy's lips as Ari pressed down on the gas when the soldiers started to shoot at the men. Sammy started plugging the wires back into the car, the sound of Ethan and I's voices popping through. "Base to Yacht one, what was the purpose for radio silence?" Ethan commanded, both men staring at each other before my voice came through. "Guy, Liam, please tell me you're okay." I whispered, my voice breaking at the end as Sammy closed his eyes, holding the radio up to his mouth. "It was a system malfunction, won't let it happen again." Sammy spoke, setting the radio down as they approached the motel.

When the headlights flooded Rachel and Sammy's room, I quickly sprung to my feet, rushing out to the rocks while Ari and the rest of the men started to help the Ethiopians out of the back's of the trucks. "Come on." I whispered, ushering them down to the boats as Max climbed up on the rocks to stand guard. The rest of us were loading the people onto the boats, a grunt leaving my lips as the little boy I rescued collided with leg, a smile on my lips as I looked down. "Hey little man." I smiled, lifting him up as he shivered, the chill of the air surrounding him while I set him in his mothers lap. "Here." I whispered, shrugging the jacket off and handing it to him, nodding at the driver to get in the boats. "Guys, lift the ropes before push off!" I yelled, watching the team nod as we all lifted the ropes from the water, all of us pushing the boats in further until we were wet up to our waists, bright smiles on our lips as I rushed into Ari's arms, kicking my feet up as he lifted me.

"We did it cupcake, mission one was a success!"
