'What the hell was he doing here?, this was more shocking than surprising to me. Was he here to berate me for the failed plan or to have talks with the Martinez family and initiate a direct attack on them?'

I had so many questions swirling in my mind like a whirlpool.

"Dad what are you doing here?" I asked.
"How are you my child? Well I am here to talk about something, which you will find out soon enough!" he replied

"Dad I have done some terrible things in recent past and I am really ashamed of my deeds"
He cut me off in the middle and said " Ella I know everything Rosa and Miguel have told me everything and you don't need to worry about anything".

He said with a faint smile, then proceeded to talk to Miguel and Rosa and said "I apologise on the behalf of Medellin cartel, whatever happened shouldn't have happened and it's a terrible thing. I should have cleared things with you people first instead of acting like that based on some "evidence", I hope you can forgive the Medellin cartel".

Rosa smiled and said "We can understand the reasoning behind your actions. We would have acted similarly had something like that happened to us. I know it's painful to have your trust broken in such a fashion and the wounds can take some time to heal but we can forgive you, that's my word!"

Then my dad spoke up "Since all the misunderstandings have been clear I guess its time to leave. Gabriella pack your stuff we are going back home" he said to me, beaming.

I was confused how to react, should I be happy about leaving scott-free or sad about leaving Mexico behind. In a short period of time I had grown really close to this family and some of its members leaving without any kind of closure would be so sad.

With these thoughts in my mind I walked to my room and started packing my stuff.
"All of this was happening to fast and I didn't even know if Ricardo was okay or not, I cannot go without meeting Alejandro. I know I cannot go against my dad and stay here but I will meet him before I go no matter how hard or difficult it is".

I left my packing in midst and walked to find Alejandro. I couldn't find him anywhere, I asked the maid and she told me he was in his study. I nervously knocked on his door and waited patiently for a reply, a deep voice said "come in" and I obliged .

He was shocked to see me in his study but maintained his demeanour and didn't say a word.

I spoke first "Alejandro my dad has come and discussed and cleared everything with your mom and dad, he will take me back home today itself."

"ohh, have a safe journey" he said in a matter fact manner.
I was a little hurt but I guess I deserved it after what I had put him through.
"Wont you stop me?" I said

"Why should I? You are going back home and you don't mean anything to me" He continued his matter of fact way of speaking with me.
I couldn't take it anymore and burst into tears "Alejandro its time I told you the truth, I really like you. I tried to control my feelings because I was seeking revenge but I cannot anymore. It's true I have fallen deeply and madly in love with you" I said emotionally between sobs.

"What an Oscar worthy performance you must try in Hollywood you know? Netflix is making many South American based shows and you would perfectly fit the bill for the lead of these shows" He said, sarcasm dripping in large amounts from his words.
"Please don't do this, you are breaking my heart" I said.

"Ohh really, I don't know which one of your statements is true and which is false, since you played me around your little finger and made a fool out of me. I don't know what to believe and what not to, it's better that you disappear from my sights. Gabriella-Maria -Sanchez remember one thing the two of us are never getting back together. Its O.V.E.R now you may leave" he finished his monologue and shut the study's door in my face, and I left for my room teary eyed.
