Gabriella
As the truth emerged from the shadows, I stood at the precipice of resolution and unrest, grappling with the weight of revelation and the echoes of chaos that lingered in its wake.
Though the perpetrator of my father's murder had been unveiled, a profound sense of inadequacy gnawed at my core. I found the murderer of Father but still I felt like a failure. While a part of me felt gratitude towards Alejandro for his relentless pursuit of justice, an unsettling void persisted within, leaving me grappling with a myriad of conflicting emotions
Why didn't Alejandro told me about all these? Why didn't he involved me in his plan? The absence of Alejandro's transparency in his plan left me feeling excluded and betrayed. Despite my journey from Colombia in pursuit of my father's killer, Alejandro chose to keep me in the dark, reinforcing the fractures in our trust. It's evident that our relationship remains marred by a lingering sense of mistrust, leaving me questioning the depth of our bond.
He got so many opportunities to tell me the truths but he didn't
As I stood there, consumed by conflicting emotions, a warm and comforting hand gently rested on my shoulder, offering a silent reassurance in the midst of my turmoil.
"Gabriella are you ok?" Miriana asked with a heavy heart I nodded, exhaling a weary sigh
"Why don't you talk to Alejandro?" She said
"We don't have anything to talk"
With a sense of resignation settling over me, I composed myself and resolved to depart. Recognizing that there was nothing left to tether me to this place.
Stepping out of the church, I was met by the reassuring presence of my bodyguard, waiting patiently beside the car.
"Ma'am shall we leave " he asked.Despite the rational course of action being to nod and depart, but the conflict between heart and brain, the heart won, I turned on my heels and retraced my steps back into the church
I navigated the familiar halls of the church with purpose, guided by the intimate knowledge gleaned from Miriana's wedding. Every step forward brought me closer to my target, fueled by the resolve to confront the elusive figure who held the answers I sought.
I found myself standing infront of a wooden door and without thinking twice I pushed open the door. As the door swung open before me, revealing Alejandro engaged in conversation with Carlos, his words faltered as his gaze met mine.
Alejandro's commanding presence filled the room, his blazer discarded to reveal the sinewy strength of his arms, accentuated by the rolled-up sleeves of his shirt. With the top buttons undone, his gaze met mine with a captivating intensity, his chiseled features reminiscent of a figure gracing the pages of a fashion editorial.
Taking a deep breath, I forced myself to refocus on the matter at hand, pushing aside the distracting allure of Alejandro's presence.
"Leave"
As Carlos swiftly exited the room, the door closed with a decisive click, leaving Alejandro and me alone in the charged atmosphere
"What the hell is wrong with you?" I unleashed a frustrated yell, hurling my clutch onto the nearby bed with a forceful motion. My fists clenched tightly, trembling with pent-up emotion as I struggled to contain the seething turmoil within.
"Shouldn't I be the one asking you this question? What's wrong with you, Gabriella? Why would you storm into the room without knocking?"
With narrowed eyes blazing with fury, I fixed Alejandro with a steely glare.
