Have you ever wondered what it feels to be standing between a chaos?
Standing amidst chaos is like being caught in the eye of a storm, where tumult swirls around you, yet you remain eerily still. It's witnessing the world unravel in a frenzy of disorder while feeling utterly powerless to intervene, like a silent observer in a cacophony of unrest.
I can feel the chaos taking place inside me too. I can feel a turmoil inside me. I feel chained and want to break free.
When Alejandro refused to marry Nora, I initially thought I had misheard, but amidst the ensuing chaos, I became certain that my ears had not deceived me.
He really denied to marry her? But why?
I heard murmurs and whispers swirling around me, as Mr. López's expression darkened with fury.
"How dare you deny to marry my daughter " he yelled angrily which is justified. No father would like to see his daughter getting abandoned on the altra.
Alejandro didn't say anything, he just smirked at him. He is definitely upto something. Mr. López's enraged reaction ensued as he brandished his gun, aiming it squarely at Alejandro. The shock among onlookers wasn't due to the sight of the gun itself, but rather the audacity of someone daring to point it at Alejandro Martinez.
The church is filled with different levels of gangsters so seeing gun is not a problem but seeing someone pointing a gun at Alejandro is a big deal.
Alejandro's demeanor remained remarkably composed and unfazed, devoid of any hint of fear or impending doom. He didn't looked frighten as if he is about to meet his death. He stood there like he simply out for leisurely stroll. He didn't look like someone is pointing a gun at him. In his response he only chuckled.
"Calm down Mr. López, we have the whole day to discuss this."
Upon Alejandro's utterance, a hush fell over the room, enveloping it in an eerie silence akin to that of a pin drop. Reluctantly, Mr. López retracted his gun, succumbing to the weight of Alejandro's words.
The silence was shattered by the sudden emergence of a familiar voice, not from the lips of any present individual, but emanating from speakers strategically positioned throughout the church. It became evident that someone had initiated an audio recording, adding an unexpected twist to the unfolding events.
What the hell is going on? Is this a wedding or a drama show? While a small part of me felt relieved that Alejandro refused to marry, a larger part remained consumed by worry, questioning Alejandro's intentions and the true nature of the unfolding drama.
'I love you a lot Alejandro baby....'
This voice seems very familiar and then it clicked me that it's Nora voices. The realization that the voice belonged to Nora sent a shiver down my spine. Hearing her confess her love to Alejandro stirred up a strange mix of emotions within me. Despite knowing I had no authority over others' feelings, an unsettling sensation crept over me, and an irrational desire surged to silence her, as if my hands longed to be stained with her blood.
'Oh really, you love me a lot'
It was definitely Alejandro's voice. I can recognize his voice even if I loss my memory. He is printed in my mind and heart to that extent.
'Yes I love a lot.....'
She is definitely drunk or more than drunk. I don't understand why Alejandro is playing there love confession audio right after he denied to marry her. What is he upto?
