Alejandro

As I crossed the threshold into the grand foyer of the Sanchez mansion, a sense of urgency propelled me forward. Ignoring the opulent surroundings, my feet moved with purpose towards the heart of the estate: the study. I felt a certainty in my bones that Gabriel would be there, amidst the shelves of leather-bound books and the soft glow of lamplight. With each step, anticipation coursed through me, driving me closer to the encounter that awaited.

The maids' shocked gazes followed my determined stride, but none dared to impede my progress. Climbing the staircase, my mind churned with a singular, relentless thought: how to kill Gabriel?

With a purposeful step, I burst into his study, dismissing the need for propriety. Gabriel lounged behind his desk, a smug smirk playing upon his lips. It was as if he had been expecting me, anticipating my arrival with an eerie certainty.

"You took your sweet time in coming here " Gabriel's taunting words hung in the air as he rose from his seat, his arrogance palpable. With a swift motion, I shed my suit jacket, the weight of determination settling upon my shoulders. Rolling up my sleeves, I steeled myself for what was to come.

Without hesitation, I unleashed a powerful punch aimed squarely at his smirking face. The impact echoed through the room as Gabriel crumpled to the floor, his arrogance shattered in an instant.

"This is for taking Gabriella away from me."

Gabriel's laughter cut through the tension as he rose, defiantly wiping blood from the corner of his lips. His mockery stoked the flames of my fury, igniting a searing desire for vengeance.

"Who would believe that one day the great Alejandro Martinez would fall madly in love?"

With clenched fists, I seethed This Bastard! I swear one day I will definitely kill you.

"She loves you a lot. So much that she chose you over her own brother," he admitted, a bittersweet sadness tainting his words.

"Are you jealous?" I challenged, my voice dripping with contempt.

"Wouldn't you be, in my place?" he retorted, a smirk curling his lips, his eyes gleaming with dark amusement.

With every fiber of my being, I fought to restrain the urge to unleash another blow upon Gabriel's smug face. Clenching my fists tighter, I willed myself to maintain control, refusing to succumb to the overwhelming tide of anger that threatened to consume me.

"Don't be jealous. There was a time when she chose her family over me, and I also felt betrayed. But she will always love you, no matter what happens. To her, you are her big brother, her only family."

"Did she really choose her family over you?" he asks with a smile, and I nod.

"Well, let me tell you something. I don't think you are worthy of my sister, but you are the only man I know who will do anything for her happiness. So I won't come between you two, but if you ever try to hurt her, I won't think twice before killing you. Now go on and meet her. She has been waiting for you for quite a long time."

Gabriel's words hung in the air, a stark reminder of the delicate balance between love and loyalty. With a solemn nod, I accepted his terms, understanding the weight of his warning. As I turned to leave, his final words reached my ears,

"And after you're done spending time with my sister, come and meet me. I need to discuss something very important with you, and I know you have many questions for me. I would love to answer them." He said

"Ok" with these I walked out of the study and made my way towards Gabriella's room. As I entered Gabriella's room, a sense of peace washed over me at the sight of her sleeping form. With a tender smile, I approached her bedside, careful not to disturb her slumber.
