"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE IS GONE?" I asked Luke as he stood in front of me.
I was at Campbell's house with Brent, Campbell, Xavier, Jake, and Luke. The twins were upstairs playing not knowing all this stuff was going down.
Campbell called me over to the her house, and that's when they told me that they couldn't find Joshua. Fear and anxiety hit me in the gut, but I tried to stay focus on the task at hand.
"He went with Sebastian, willingly," Luke replied, casually. I stared at him like he was crazy because there is no way Joshua went with Sebastian "willingly."
"Bullshit. Sebastian must have threatened him," I defended my boyfriend, angrily.
"All I know is that my cops didn't see Sebastian whatsoever until it was too late and the drug bust is a not go because Sebastian moved it to god knows where. I know have Joshua missing, and honestly, I think this was a whole set up."
"What are you saying?" Xavier asked with a raised eyebrow.
Luke sighed,"Joshua could have been working with Sebastian. He could have been a mole."
That's it.
"You know what? Fuck you, Luke," I exclaimed, angrily, as everybody around me looked at me in shock. I was not about to let Luke sit here and drag Joshua through the mud for no reason.
Luke's eyes widen, but he didn't say anything, so I continued with my rant.
"How stupid are you? I thought you were suppose to be smart considering you are a freaking cop. Joshua fucking trusted you, and here you are bashing him with no evidence. You should be out there looking for him yet you are not. Joshua would never work for Sebastian unless Sebastian threatened him...using leverage," I said as everything clicked in my brain.
I turned to my sister,"Campbell, you said that Kylie was missing and that she just randomly showed up a few minutes later in the same direction Joshua went, right?"
Campbell nodded,"Yeah, and I couldn't find Joshua anywhere."
"Oh my god. Sebastian must have freaking used Kylie. That's the only way Joshua would have went with him. Think about it, Joshua is weak right now because of his father's attack. Sebastian must have found out about it, and he knew that he was with the twins and Campbell. Sebastian has been watching Joshua, waiting for him to be alone, and he finally got his chance."
"That still doesn't explain why my cops didn't see Sebastian and why Joshua didn't call out to them for help. The park is only so big, Leah. It doesn't make sense," Luke replied with a shake of his head in disapproval.
"Sebastian is very powerful guy with lots of connections like his father," Jake started,"Who's not say he paid off those four cops to look the other way. Who's not to say he is paid them to keep an eye on Joshua because Sebastian couldn't."
