'Oh God, oh God, oh, God, oh God, oh, God, oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God, oh, GOD!' was my train of thought as I looked at Isabelle's limp body.
I neighed loudly and she looked up.
"Lil?" she whispered, her voice croaky and hoarse.
I nodded and nuzzled my head into her neck.
"I can't heal. They took Alice and Marlene. Death Eaters. Poms can't help." Isabelle croaked.
I lowered myself instantly and indicated for her to get on my back frantically.
Once she was on safely I stood up and spread my wings, getting ready to leave.
"Where're we going Lil?" Isabelle whispered.
'We're going back, Isa.' I willed her with every fibre in my body to know what I was thinking as I beated my wings and we lifted off the ground, Isabelle's grip tightening on my mane so she was almost ripping the hair out.
I beat my wings as quickly and as steadily as I could as we rose off the ground and flew as quickly as I could towards the only place I knew could help Isabelle.
My wings beat steadily as I flew Isabelle holding onto herself and me for dear life.
'Please be okay, please be okay, please be okay, please.' I pleaded mentally as we flew well into the night.
As it was nearing midnight, I wasn't feeling tired at all as I was feasting on the adrenilen from seeing one of my best friends like she was and imagining Alice and Marlene could only be worse off than her, I felt Isabelle's grip loosen and I instantly flew to the ground to keep her safe.
"Lily. I don't think I can keep conscieous anymore." she said just before she started to cough up blood, covering my head in the stuff, making it drip down onto my eyes.
I curled one of my wings up and tried desperately to get the message across for her to go in the other.
After a few minutes I stamped my hooves and lay down, putting Isabelle on the ground before I tucked my wing around her and lifted her with it so they were tucked into my side.
"Oh..." was the last word she uttered before she wretched again and blood stained my pure white wings, I was fairly sure I was more red from Isabelle's blood now than I was white naturally.
I wasted no time and was cantering towards our destination my eyes filled to the brim with tears that wouldn't escape.
I ran across the country side for hours, not tiring, the adrenilen still fueling me to push onwards.
The sun was pushing above the horizon and I found my mind wandering to the thought of how picturesque this would look as me being a silhoette against the sun.
I shook off the thought and charged ahead with more power than ever before, determined to save Isabelle.
I stamped my feet and neighed loudly as I stood, covered in blood, outside the door on the cobblestone pathway.
It was a wonder I was able to get here so fast, I guess Pegasus had the same ability to know where they're going as Thestrals do.
I heard foot falls and a 'What on Earth?' coming from inside and I stamped my hooves louder, though careful not to dislodge Isabelle from her sleep.
"Coming, coming!" someone, most probably Mr Potter, yelled from somewhere in the house.
As the door opened I was greeted by a sleepy looking Mr Potter with a wide awake Mrs Potter and a frowning Remus.
