DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER, JK ROWLING DOES. I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE SONGS, THEY BELONG TO THE ORIGINAL ARTISTS. ANYTHING THAT BELONGS TO SOMEONE ELSE BELONGS TO THEM AS WELL.
I woke up early and got into my robes.
I headed into the Great Hall and sat down at the end of the table.
As I grabbed a slice of toast I ran through my schedule in my head.
'First double Potions, then break, then Defence, Arithmacy, lunch, double Charms.'
Not the worst, pretty good actually.
I drizzled honey on my toast and took a massive bite.
I polished it off quickly and poured myself some coffee.
At about that time, surprisingly, Marlene walked in and sat next to me.
"What happened Marlene? You're almost never up this early." I questioned curiously.
"Dunno, just woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep." She shrugged as she poured herself some cereal and milk.
We chatted for a while as everyone else slowly trickled in.
Everyone else's reactions were pretty much the same as mine when they saw Marlene up early.
We all ate breakfast and walked to Potions, or in Henry's case, Transfiguration.
Potions and Defence passed quickly.
"See you at lunch Lily." Isabelle said, they had Care of Magical Creatures.
"Yeah, see ya." I waved to them as we headed our separate ways.
I sat down in Arithmacy and waited for everyone else to come in.
I got bored waiting for everyone, closed my eyes, put my feet up on the desk, balanced on the back legs of my chair and let my mind wander.
'You an' me baby, we're stuck like glue.' I sung inside my head.
"MISS EVANS!" The Professor yelled.
"Huh?!" I asked as I toppled off my chair.
The class laughed at me again.
"What were you doing in my Arithmacy lesson?" He asked snappily.
"Uh... I was going over music in my head." I stated flatly.
"Then, if your willing to do it here, you can do it in the Great Hall, out loud, at lunch." He snapped.
"But-" I started.
"Or it's detention until April."
"Fine." I sighed.
"Now, on with the lesson."
I payed attention the rest of the lesson, not wanting any more threats or trouble and It passed fairly quickly. I was dreading lunch though.
I peeped inside the Great Hall and saw that everyone was already in there.
I had waited until everyone was inside the Hall, per the Professor's instructions. Waiting until he announced.
As one person stood up to leave Dumbledore rose from his seat. The single student standing sat down immediately.
"Now students, I have heard that Professor Hartell has given a student in his Arithmacy class, a very... Unusual punishment. Off you go." Dumbledore announced and encouraged.
I took a deep breath and walked in and towards the Gryffindor table.
All eyes were on me.
'FUCK!' My mind was freaking.
