"Oh fuck—!"

You burst out laughing as Baji slipped on the ice for probably the millionth time. Rindo was skating circles around him tauntingly, laughing as he slipped and fell.

Of course he didn't get to laugh for long when Baji pulled him down with him. Now you and Ran were laughing at the two dorks on the ice.

Baji's clothes were practically soaking at this point and Rindo's had gone a little damp. At some point you and Rindo had raced around the rink, leaving Baji in Ran's hands as Ran half heartedly assisted him.

You noticed despite warming up, Ran was still a bit wary around Baji, unlike Rindo who simply didn't care. You weren't quite sure what was stopping Ran from being more comfortable with Baji, but you decided not to ask.

A couple of hours had passed and the four of you had left the skating rink a while ago, simply opting to roam around a little bit more before grabbing a bite to eat.

The plan was to go home in an hour or so before leaving again with Ran at night to go for a little walk. You had invited Rindo to tag along for family bonding, but he was quick to decline, saying he and Baji were going to play some videogames.

You had to admit you felt a little betrayed by Rindo, wanting to spend time with both your brothers despite feigning reluctance earlier. But you knew you couldn't be selfish, it was Christmas after all! And you always had the next one to spend with him.

* * *

The four of you finally arrived home and it was time to exchange presents. You were excited to know what your brothers had gotten you. In all honesty, it didn't really matter to you if they got you even a simple note on a paper.

You loved getting gifts from your brothers, in fact, there wasn't anything you knew you loved more apart from them themselves.

"Present time~!" Baji barged into your apartment, kicking down the door. Lord knows he's the only living thing in the building that would dare to do so.

"Oi, mop head! Ever heard of knocking?" Rindo called from over at the couch, arm slung over the back as he stared at Baji lazily.

Ran was on the other side of the long couch with you sitting on the ground between his legs. He was braiding your hair.

You couldn't turn around so you simply waved your arms. "Kei-chan! Come sit!"

Ran finished tying up your hair and you stood up as Baji took a seat on one of the single couches. Right on time, the kitchen timer went off and you headed over, bringing back a tray of warm chocolate chip cookies for everyone.

"Careful, it's hot." You warned them before quickly fetching the milk carton from the fridge, bringing it back with four glasses.

"Thank you." Ran smiled, taking the glasses from you and putting it down on the table as you took a seat between him and Rindo.

The four of you had agreed on a simple exchange, a little like Secret Santa but not so secret. You knew who was giving who a gift.

You got Baji a gift, Baji got Rindo a gift, Rindo got Ran a gift, and Ran got you a gift. Of course, you had some slight expectation that Rindo would get you a gift, but you weren't keeping your hopes up for it.

Rindo got up to fetch his presents, you did the same, excusing yourself as Baji waited lazily on the couch.

You silently cursed yourself for constantly forgetting things which resulted in you going back and forth in different places. You only hoped this would be the last time you stood up for a while.

Finally, when all of you settled back on the couch, Rindo volunteered to go first, passing Ran a messily wrapped gift that was shaped like a short pole.

Ran accepted it with a smile, not commenting on the particularly bad wrapping as he tore it open. His eyes widened a bit as he pulled out a new baton, one that was crafted especially for him under Rindo's instuctions.

"I didn't know you were so considerate," you teased Rindo, a lazy smile on your face as he shot you a glare, threateningly jerking his fist in your direction as a threat.

"Thank you, Rindo." Ran smiled, messing up his hair as Rindo grumbled, too awkward to come up with a response. Ran then turned to look at you, "I guess it's my turn now, come with me."

The two of you stood up and you followed Ran into the hall, leaving Rindo and Baji in the living room as Ran led you to your room. You were confused, did he hide the gift in your room, perhaps?

He entered with you following close behind before heading to your walk in closet, pulling it open. Your jaw dropped when you saw and entire new rack of designer clothes, but what didn't click was how they got there.

"How..." You muttered, confused as you walked to it slowly, hands brushing against the fabric before looking over at him.

He smiled as he walked over to you. "I had a few people set it up while we were out, I know you wouldn't bother to check it unless we were getting ready to leave for our walk tonight—woah!"

He blinked, taking a second to register the sudden hug you were giving him. When he did, the lazy smile returned to his face as he pet your hair affectionately.

"Thank you, Rani." You looked up at him, eyes sparkling with a genuine smile on your face, one he loved to see.

"Anything for my baby sister," he said.

The two of you heard sudden shouting from the living room, it didn't sound like it was out of anger but rather, celebration. At least that's what you thought.

You and Ran looked at each other, confused, wondering why Baji and Rindo were shouting. The two of you walked back to the living room to see Rindo grinning, eyes sparkling with excitement as he unboxed his gift which happened to be the new Xbox 360 that released in the beginning of the month.

"You impatient idiots," Ran sighed, hands on his hips as he stared at the two of them with mock disappointment.

"I was supposed to go next," you frowned, feeling a little bit disappointed that you weren't able to do things in an orderly manner because the two idiots couldn't wait.

"Blame him." Rindo pointed at Baji.

"Wh— hey!" Baji smacked him, only to have Rindo smack him back.

You heard another sigh from Ran as he pinched the bridge of his nose in irritation.

"Well, nothing we can do now." You shrugged, pulling out a USB. "I have Baji's gift over here."

"A... USB? Really, Y/N?" Rindo stared at you boredly, resting his chin on the palm of his hand.

You walked over and grabbed the instruction manual of the Xbox 360 that laid carelessly on the coffee table, using it to smack the back of his head as he yelped. "It's none of your business."

"Sheesh lady, you've got one hell of a swing y'know." Rindo grumbled slightly, rubbing the back of his head to soothe the sting.

You gave him a mocking smile before turning to Baji and handing him the USB. "Merry Christmas, Kei-chan."

He took it gratefully, a bright grin on his face as he took it from you, standing up and giving you a warm hug. "Thank you. Merry Christmas to you too Y/N."
