"What are you smiling about this time?" That was the first thing Rindo said to you as he entered the living room, dressed in a hoodie and pajama pants.
"Just texting Emma," you replied, not even looking at him.
He stretched a little, a yawn leaving his throat as he pushed his glasses back up his nose bridge. "That girl you went shopping with like a week ago?"
You nodded, waiting for Emma's reply on your flip phone. "Yeah, it's her birthday today so I'm gonna go out to Shibuya to give her a gift."
"Want me to go with you or will you be fine by yourself?" He asked.
"I'll be fine, I heard Ran say something about needing to talk with the founders of Tenjiku so you'll be busy anyway," you said.
He hummed, entering the open kitchen before grabbing a bowl, a spoon, milk, and cereal. He placed everything on the kitchen island before lifting himself up to sit on top, legs crisscross.
"Get off the island you baboon!" You yelled from the living room. "You're gonna make it smell like rat shit."
"My feet smell like flowers, excuse you!" He yelled back, pouring his milk and cereal into the bowl.
"You hoe! Did I just hear you pour the milk before the cereal!?" You screeched.
"Free country!" He screamed back.
"Will you two keep it down? You're gonna wake the whole building at this rate." Ran groaned as he entered the apartment.
"Good morning to you too sunshine." You greeted him as he walked into the living room.
"Good morning." Ran greeted, ignoring your supposed sarcastic derogatory nickname for him.
You sat up on the couch, looking over at him with puppy eyes. "I'm heading out later, can I borrow your card?"
"You'd steal it if I said no." He retorted, rolling his eyes as he held back a smile.
"True. I'm using your card later then." You grinned, flopping back down on the couch.
"Rent a car for today, you're gonna end up carrying a bunch of bags again and you might crash on a bike with that many things hanging off you." He ordered.
You flailed your arms. "Fine, fine, I got it! I'll take a car don't worry."
"Wouldn't it bwe mwo dangewous if shwe used a caw? (Wouldn't it be more dangerous if she used a car?)" Rindo asked, mouth full of cereal as he pointed at you with his spoon.
Ran gave him a weird look. "First of all, it has four wheels for more balance. Second, she'll be protected inside a car, more than she would be in a bike."
"Exactly. See, Ran, our brother's just a dumbass," you scoffed, rolling your eyes.
"No, dumbass." Rindo drawled out, swallowing. "I meant for the people, not for her."
Ran's mouth formed an 'o' shape as he slowly nodded his head. You gave him a look of disbelief. "Don't tell me you actually agree."
Ran shrugged, flopping down next to you on the couch. "I do, but you're still using a car."

You finally arrived at the shopping centre Emma had told you she'd be hanging around in today. The car you rented was parked in an open parking lot close by.
You briefly recalled the things Emma has told you about during the time you got to know one another. Specifically, her interest in cosmetics and fortune-telling.
It was just your luck that you stumbled upon a little cosmetic shop and you immediately headed inside, trying to pick out the best thing to get for Emma.
There were so many things to choose from so you decided to settle for buying her their latest make-up kit, making sure to get it in shades and colors that suited Emma.
When you paid, you headed over to a fortune-telling shop to buy her a nice set of tarot reading cards. You made sure to pick the pack with the nicest back patterns.
Checking your watch, you had quite a bit of time left, so you decided to walk around a bit, exploring the shopping center and seeing if there was anything else you could buy for her.
Your luck seemed to run out when you suddenly ran into someone yet again, but this time they spilled their drink all over you as they rounded the corner. It was safe to say it was definitely more their fault than yours this time.
"Oh no! I'm so sorry that was totally my fault, you alright?" The boy's voice was low and smooth, a comforting air to it.
You looked up and your eyes widened when you recognized the handsome figure standing over you, an apologetic look in his eyes.
"You're... Mitsuya... right?" You tilted your head as you accepted his outstretched hand.
"How do you know my name?" He asked, watching you carefully as he helped you up.
Your jaw slacked a bit before you came up with a perfect excuse. "I'm friends with Emma, she showed me a picture of Toman's members and told me your names!" It wasn't a complete lie, after all Emma did tell you about them, she just didn't know you already knew.
He nodded, glancing at you for a quick second. "Ah, well it's nice to meet you... uh..."
"Y/N." You finished.
"Y/N." He smiled. "Really sorry about your clothes, can I make it up to you?"
"I wish I had the time but I'm in a bit of a hurry to meet Emma, my time with her is really limited today." You frowned, slightly disappointed.
"Here, take this." Mitsuya suddenly pulled his hoodie over his head before handing it to you. "I'd like that back, just when you have enough time so I can make it up to you, deal?"
You accepted it, sending him a playful wink and smile after you slipped it on. "You got yourself a deal. Thanks for this."
"No biggie, it was my fault in the first place, I'm just glad it was only your clothes that I ruined." He smiled, waving you goodbye. "I'll ask Emma for your number, so until we meet again, cutie."
"Yeah..." You watched him retreat, completely taken by the sudden nickname as the tips of your ears felt warm. You shook your head, snapping yourself out of it. "Get it together Y/N, Baji is at home and— fuck what the hell am I saying?"
You quickly slapped yourself, earning a learn of concern and surprise from passersby, but you waved them off, reassuring them that you were completely fine.
"Gosh, snap out of it Y/N. He's just your toy, not your boyfriend." You huffed, walking away and straight to your desired location.
