When you opened your eyes, everything was white.

Most people would wonder if it was heaven, but you knew your deeds and knew heaven was a long shot for someone like you.

You looked around and a familiar figure stood there before you, confused.

"Izana!" You yelled, running to him.

He stood stunned as you jumped into his arms, causing him to stumbled backward slightly. "Y/N?"

"Izana!" Your arms wrapped around him tightly, feeling the warmth of his arms returning your embrace.

He pulls back after a while, arms still around you as he gives you a sad smile. "What are you doing here Y/N? It's not your time yet."

You stayed quiet, biting your lip. You knew he probably already knew what had happened.

He shook his head, placing a hand on your head and petting your hair affectionately. "They need you down there," he sighed, pulling you close again.

"Kakucho misses you, he hasn't smiled as much since the day you left us," you looked down, not wanting to meet his eyes.

Lowering his arm, he placed his index finger under your chin, forcing you to look at him. "I can't go back, Y/N. My time down there ended a long time ago."

"But—"

He shook his head. "Just take care of them for me, okay?"

He finally released you from his hold, stepping back as his body began to fade back into the bright light, a gentle smile on his face. "Bring back their smiles for me, little sister."

He began to grow farther and farther away from you. "Wait, no! You can't leave yet, I just got here!" You tried calling out for him, but soon everything turned dark and nothing but the sound of a heart monitor filled your ears.

When you opened your eyes, Hanagaki was there by your side. "Hanagaki..." you mumbled.

"Y-You're awake! H-How are you feeling?" He asked.

"...Where..." You looked around but no one else was in the room.

"They were arrested," he replied honestly. "T-The doctors they said—"

"I'm not gonna make it... am I?" You asked.

He hesitated, and that was enough of an answer. What did Izana even mean by it wasn't your time yet when you were clearly about to die?

"I know... of your... power," you mumbled softly, voice no longer able to keep up with your exhaustion.

He seemed stunned. "H-How did you—"

You smiled weakly, "I have... my ways..."

He kept quiet, waiting for you to continue.

"P-Please," you inhaled sharply, pain spiking in your form as you winced. "Go back and s-save Mikey. I don't care... if I... die... but you n-need to save h-him..."

"I-I can't go back in time anymore," Takemichi stuttered, tears pooling in his eyes as he grabbed your hand. "It didn't work."

You shook your head, tears beginning to form in your eyes too. "You'll... find... a way... I know you will..."

"But—"

"I couldn't... save Mikey," your voice wavered as you got emotional, sniffling. "I-I tried to, but I-I just couldn't do it."

"Y/N..."

"I-If anyone can do it... y-you can, r-right?" You tried to smile through your tears. "H-He turned so cold... c-can you believe it," you let out a weak humored breath. "T-Today w-was the f-first time... h-he felt warm... again."

He bit down on his lip as he tried not to cry harder.

"I wanted to... tell Kei-chan and Seishu... t-that I'm sorry... I wanted to... tell them that... I s-shouldn't have done t-those things... I shouldn't have... fooled around with them..." you winced softly.

"I-I wish I could've... told them... that I-I loved them both... so much."

You stared at the ceiling, strange illusions beginning to form as you saw your grandfather and Izana standing next to him, and you smiled.

"I-I wanted to see Ran and Rindo... one last time," you whimpered, tears spilling from your eyes as you clenched your fists. "I-I'm trying to hold on... but I... can't anymore..."

"Y/N no—they'll be here soon, just hold on a little longer okay," he begun to panic as your heartbeat slowed on the monitor.

"T-Tell them... I love them... for me... okay?"

"No, no— NO!!!" He gripped your hand tightly and suddenly, everything turned dark.

"Ah, what a pity." A new voice entered the room as it flatlined.

The man was dressed in a doctor's coat, but his stature clearly told that he was no doctor.

"What are you doing? Save her!" Hanagaki exclaimed.

"Now now, patience. She can't be saved," he said.

"What are you—"

"Goodnight," he smiled, slamming a vase against Hanagaki's head as he collapsed, out cold on the ground.

"What a pity indeed," Shendo sighed. "I wanted to be the one to kill you, but it looks like we gotta have a do over, huh Y/N?"

His gaze landed on Hanagaki who's head was bleeding as he laid on the floor, unconscious.

"What a pity, my counterpart. You're yet to master your abilities, but not to worry, I'll give you enough time," he grinned, pulling out a knife.

He reached the knife toward his other hand before cutting into his palm lightly, a gentle hiss leaving his lips. "The things I do for my rival," he sighed.

He grabbed your hand next before carefully cutting into your palm, then with his hand with a cut, clasped it together with yours.

And as the blood on your hands connected, he leaned down and whispered something in your ear.

And then, the line went flat.
