"Hold on... I don't understand, Shinichiro stole the ability because of Mikey?" You asked unsurely.

Shendo nodded in confirmation. "I was able to look into former timelines with this ability... including timelines activated by my uncle's ability. That's how I pieced everything together."

"What... why would he do that and not just give the ability to Mikey? Why did he give it to Hanagaki instead?"

Shendo shrugged, "I can look into the past but I can only deduce from what I see in those memories. I can't read peoples' minds or anything like that... maybe Shinichiro saw something in Hanagaki."

"But Mikey-"

"Ah you're so noisy," Arachi grumbled. "Can't we just get on with the mission already so we can finish up and live recklessly again?"

Shendo's eyes seemed to light up at Arachi's words as he snapped his fingers. "That's it! Shinichiro probably got what he wanted... and perhaps he saw something in Hanagaki that urged him to give up the ability."

"It does make sense," you agreed. "I guess... it worked out in the end, because Hanagaki never gives up. If anyone can save us, it's probably that guy, right?"

Shendo gave you a look, lips pressed in a thin line with his nostrils flared slightly.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"He's upset that you're praising Hanagaki," Arachi interrupted, scratching the back of his head lightly as he yawned. "He worked hard for a lot of people too, you know."

"Ah." You felt a little embarrassed before shaking it off and giving him two thumbs up with a determined look on your face. "Shendo is the best!"

Shendo grimaced. "You're making it worse!"

"Let's just get to our positions already," Arachi sighed.

"Whatever you say Arachi!" You grinned cheerfully.

He grunted. "It's Himari to you."

You hopped back on top of the cargo, a more efficient route to your destination so you wouldn't have to deal with the Toman guys fighting down below. Shendo and Arachi went another way, having to deal with a few other people before being able to initiate your plan.

As you ran, you suddenly spotted Inui in the crowd, fighting both Wakasa and Benkei with Koko watching from the side. "You're really trying to take on those two legends?" Koko asked in disbelief. "You're on your own y'know—"

"SHUT UP!" Inui growled. "BENKEI-KUN AND WAKA ARE PISSING ME OFF! WHAT'S WITH BRAHMAN? WHAT'S WITH KANTOU MANJI? WOULD SHINICHIRO HAVE WANTED ALL THIS?"

You couldn't help but crouch down and observe the scene before you, watching carefully.

"DEEP DOWN, I'M ALSO A FIRST GEN BLACK DRAGON! ALWAYS HAVE BEEN! AND WITH THAT IN MIND, I PUT ALL MY TRUST IN HANAGAKI TAKEMICHI" He shouted. "BECAUSE SECOND GEN TOKYO MANJI AND FIRST GEN BLACK DRAGON SHARE THE SAME SPIRIT!"

That's true, you thought, releasing a heavy sigh. But... you can't win, not against Kantou Manji... and certainly not against me and the two other idiots on my side.

"That's why... I will never lose to Kantou Manji!" Inui finished.

Your eyes found Koko who stared at Inui, and you could hear the wheels turning in his head, and you wondered to yourself, just what is this guy thinking about?

You grimaced as Waka and Benkei began to throw punches and kicks at Inui. You wanted to do something, really, but could you interfere? You heard a curse leave Inui's lips, and just as your body twitched, getting ready to move, he spoke.
