"Kiss my ass Donkey Kong!" Sanzu cheered as he surpassed you.

"Fuck you and your Princess Peach," you growled, irritated that he passed you in the race.

Rindo on the other hand ignored both of you, way ahead with his Bowser in first place as the three of you played Mario Kart together.

You and Sanzu were fighting for second place, a normal occurrence, really. Rindo was just annoyingly good at Mario Kart and never gave up the gold cup.

The three of you were sitting on Koko's large leather couch right in front of the huge flatscreen TV. You guys were supposed to have a meeting in Koko's apartment building but it finished quicker than expected and now the three youngest of the group were playing video games together.

Koko was in his sound proof office, making sure to stay cooped up and away from the rowdy trio. The others had already left to take care of other business related to Bonten and the three of you had free time.

It was unfortunate for Koko of course, but there wasn't really anything he could do. Sure Rindo wasn't tough to handle, but psychopaths like you and Sanzu were a whole other tale.

"Motherfucker!" You swore as he finished in second place, a string of indecipherable swearwords leaving your lips as you gripped the controller tightly, trying not to lose your cool and chuck it at Sanzu's head.

Suddenly the door to Koko's office opened and he stepped out, dressed nice and clean as always.

You whistled playfully, distracted from your loss. "Where are you going?"

"Out," he replied, adjusting his sleeves as you stood up and walked over to him.

"You sure its a good idea to leave the three of us here alone?" You tilted your head slightly, a teasing smile on your face.

"No, but if anything happens I'll be cutting funds for a month," he replied, smirking as your expression shifted drastically.

You frowned, squinting at him. "Mean."

"Can I get a goodbye kiss?" He teased, leaning closer to you.

"Kiss my ass," you sassed, the sound of his amused, gentle laughter reaching your ears ever so faintly as he walked toward the door.

"Yo Donkey Kong, you up for round 4?" Sanzu yelled from the couch.

You rolled your eyes, speed walking over. "Impatient as always, Princess Peach."

* * *

You sat in Koko's study room, going through his paperwork after he sent you a text asking you to take care of it. He didn't bother asking Rindo or Sanzu knowing the two of them didn't handle his paperwork as organized as he liked, only you did.

It was a nice office, no one could deny that. He lived on the top floor, as expected since he owned the building, he even had his own private elevator that only he was allowed to use.

Well, that was the plan at least, until he started inviting you and the other Bonten executives. You, Sanzu, and Rindo kept playing around in his elevator, pressing all the buttons, going up and down the different floors.

Heck, even Takeomi played around with it once, but he tried to subtly play it off as if he accidentally pressed the wrong button... thrice.

Suddenly your phone went off, surprising you a little bit as you jumped in your seat. You quickly answered, putting it up to your ear without checking the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Y/N."

You cursed silently, before putting on an innocent facade. "Inupi hey! Is there something you need?"

"Why haven't you answered my calls?" He asked.

"...I'm a busy person, you know that Seishu," you replied, pinning your phone between your ear and your shoulder as you continued sifting through Koko's papers.

"You didn't even wake me up before you left last week," you could hear the frown in his voice.

"Is there any reason I should have?" You countered, scribbling down on the notepad you found in Koko's drawer, writing down a few important notes on the papers.

He kept quiet for a moment, unable to respond. It was true after all, there was no valid reason as to why you had to wake him up.

You felt a little bit guilty though, but if you had woken him up it would only mean your relationship with him was valid and progressing, but that could never happen.

"Look I'm sorry, Inupi," you sighed, switching to place your phone on your other ear as your neck had begun to feel sore. "I'll make it up to you, okay? How does that sound baby?"

"...Okay," he replied softly, but you could already feel that his mood had gotten better.

"Is there anything you want?" You asked. "My
treat."

He kept quiet for a bit, seemingly pondering on what he wanted from you.

"There's a nice pet shop I ran into a few weeks ago, they had some really cute animals, wanna check it out?"

"Okay," he replied.

You kept reading the papers as you spoke, continuing to write notes on the notepad. "I still have a lot of work to do and I'm sure Draken needs your help with the motor shop, I'll see you soon alright?"

"Bye Y/N," he mumbled.

"Mhm." You hummed before hanging up, shoving your phone back into your pocket.

You sat there for a while, putting the pen down as you sunk back into the chair, a heavy sigh leaving your lips. You knew deep down you were beginning to get attached to Inui, but that's not something you could afford to do as a well known criminal.

You sat up, resting your elbows on the desk and your head in your hands. "What am I doing?"

"I wouldn't know," your head shot up the moment you recognized the voice, seeing Rindo leaning against the doorframe. "But I do know what you were supposed to be doing."

"Where's Sanzu?" You asked, straightening up on the chair.

Rindo pushed himself off the doorframe, walking over to you. "He got a call from Mikey since Kakucho had something else to take care of."

"I haven't seen Mikey in a while," you mumbled, running a hand through your hair.

"He'll call us when he needs us, you know how he is," he said as he half sat on Koko's desk.

A sigh escaped your lips as you rested your chin on the palm of your hand. "He's so different."

"You couldn't have prevented this change, Y/N. Don't hold it against yourself." He walked around the desk and behind the chair, hugging you from behind, over your shoulders. "You're a great sibling to all of us—well, most of us."

"Most of us?" You raised your eyebrow.

He deadpanned. "Do you really expect me to count the ones you fuck around with to be your 'siblings'?"

"Fair enough."
