"We fight Mikey, my ass!" You cursed throwing a ball up and down as you laid on your bed, staring at the ceiling above you.

You recalled the conversation you had with Shendo moments before, with you arguing that his plan wasn't actually a plan but a goal.

He, however, insisted that it was a plan and that he had everything under control, you doubted that with all of your being.

You shook your head at the absurdity of Shendo's 'plan'. "I can't fight my own kin."

A sudden knock on your door grabbed your attention as you muttered a soft 'come in' before the knob twisted and the door was pushed open.

"Hey squirt, our new gang uniforms arrived, Ran said to try it on," Rindo said.

"Black ones?" You asked as he nodded. Your old uniform was a white one, the same color as everyone else's, but as soon as your brothers joined they had a black one made for you as well, it represented the three of you as a clan.

You followed Rindo outside your room and towards the living space where you found Ran dressed in his new uniform. It looked dashing on him.

"You look good, brother." You told him honestly, and he smiled at your compliment, walking over to you and messing up your hair affectionately.

"Thanks kiddo, go try yours on."

"I win! I win! I win!" You cheer, falling back into the carpeted ground as Sanzu grumbles in defeat.

"We get it Donkey Kong, quit bragging," he looked away, sulking.

"Aww, is my Princess Peach pouting?" You grinned, teasing him as you placed your hands on his cheeks, turning him to face you.

He rolled his eyes before pushing your forehead back with his index finger, nearly causing you to lose balance as you laughed, holding onto his arm.

"Can I join the next round?" Rindo asked, leaning over the couch lazily.

"Take my place, I'm gonna go out for a bit." You told him, handing him the Wii control.

"Where are you headed, kiddo?" Ran asked, emerging from the hallway. "You've been going out a lot these days."

"Just a bunch of errands I need to run," you shrugged, putting on your coat. "We haven't gone clubbing in a while, I'll take you guys out tonight if you're down."

"Count me in, I need a drink," Sanzu said.

"I'll invite Kakucho," Ran said, pulling out his phone from his pocket and leaving to make the call.

"Alright, see you guys later, I'll be back before 8," you told them, pulling the door open and leaving the apartment.

You walked along the busy streets of Roponggi as the afternoon sun scorched your vision. The weather was bright and sunny, a contrast to what you were going to do.

You were going to follow Hanagaki Takemichi. You heard he was going to recruit Brahman's former princess into his gang.

You weren't sure when or where to find him but you just went with your gut, going to where you knew Brahman's former hideout was.

How did you know? You implanted a spy of your own in Brahman a while back.

When you reached the location you were surprised to find Takeomi entering with Hanagaki, and before the door closed you slipped inside making sure to stay hidden from them.

You spotted Senju sitting down at the center and you couldn't help but admire how cool the location of Brahman's hideout was, obviously it couldn't top the class of the Kantou Manji Gang.

That was the day you learned the history of Sanzu's scars, and your heart ached at the goodness stripped away from him by his brother and sister.

And so that night, you decided to label them as your enemies.

You got home not long after, just around 8, right on time so you could take the others out clubbing. Sure you were only 17 but ruling Roponggi had its advantages, you could simply go wherever you liked.

When you entered your apartment, Rindo was fast asleep on the couch, head resting on Sanzu's lap as Sanzu typed away on his phone. You assumed Ran was inside his room doing stuff, who knows maybe Kakucho was in there with him since you saw another pair of shoes at the door.

You also made sure to invite Koko who would be arriving in a few minutes to pick everyone up in a limousine.

Upon seeing Sanzu, you couldn't help but feel a twinge in your heart as you recalled the story behind his scars. You wondered then why he was so loyal to Mikey when he was the reason behind it.

You approached him slowly, and when you stood before him in the couch you leaned down to his level and his eyes left his screen, meeting yours.

"Oh you're home-"

He shut up immediately when you cupped his face in your hands, thumbs brushing against his scarred skin as his eyes widened slightly. "You're beautiful, Haruchiyo. I always forget to tell you that."

Slowly, you leaned down, planting a kiss on each of his scars and he couldn't help but blush at the sudden intimacy, frozen and unable to comprehend what just happened.

"Beautiful," you repeated softly, staring into his ocean eyes.

He swallowed hard, resisting the urge to lean in and kiss you, because it was wrong. It's not like he liked you or anything, but he couldn't understand why his heart was suddenly fluttering.

"I promised to protect Mikey, but this time I'm going to protect you too," you told him, carefully breaking away from him.

He couldn't help but frown at the sudden loss of your warmth.

"We should get going soon, Koko is coming in a few and you need to get dressed, just go grab something from Rindo's closet, I'm sure he won't mind." Then you turned and walked away, towards Ran's bedroom.

You knocked twice before uttering. "I hope you're dressed."

"For god's sake!" You heard Ran grumble loudly and Kakucho laughing from the other side of the door and you couldn't help but laugh as you twisted the knob and pushed it open.

"Get dressed lovers, Koko's coming."
