A/N: damn y'all we reached chapter 50 :o thank u sm for ur support <33

"Y/N?" Inui muttered groggily, snuggling into your stomach as his arms tightened around your waist.

"Morning pretty boy," you smiled down at him, running your fingers through his long hair. "Did you sleep well?"

"Mhm," he hummed.

You chuckled, kissing his head. "It's already 10am baby, you gotta get up."

"Don't wanna," he mumbled.

"Then what do you want?"

"Wanna cuddle," he replied, voice muffled against your stomach.

"I have places to be, Inupi," you sighed as you felt him tighten his arms around you.

"Five more minutes?" He pleaded softly, you couldn't help but melt and agree.

"Okay," you conceded. "Just five more minutes."

"Thank you," he mumbled, pressing a kiss to your stomach before snuggling closer to you.

"What am I gonna do with you," you smiled, taking a piece of his long hair and braiding it into different sections.

The same way you used to do it with Ran.

You enjoyed braiding Koko, Sanzu, and Rindo's hair as well when given the chance, but braiding Ran's hair has a more special place in your heart.

A sudden knock on the door grabbed your attention as you carefully slid out of Inui's grip, careful not to wake him up.

Wrapping yourself in a towel robe you trudged your way over to the door, pulling it open without bothering to check who was outside.

"Inupi why haven't you been a—" The man froze as soon as the two of you made eye contact. "Y/N...?"

"...Draken-kun," you breathed out, surprised.

"It's been... a long time," he said, eyeing you up and down suspiciously.

You tightened the belt of your robe, hugging yourself as you gave him a look. "It has. What are you doing here?"

"Inupi's late, we were supposed to head to the bike shop together today," he replied.

You raised an eyebrow tauntingly. "Were you now?"

Draken stared at you, seemingly irritated as he nodded his head. "Yeah, got a problem with that?"

"Easy," you grinned, shifting to lean your weight on one leg. "I wouldn't be so full of attitude if I were you."

"Do you mind moving? I'm here for Inupi," he said.

"Be careful around my Seishu, Draken-kun. He's mine, not yours," you eyed him sharply, the warning evident in your tone. "He may be blond but he's not Emma."

He balled his fists, knuckles turning white at the lack of circulation, jaw clenching as his gaze hardened into a glare. "Who are you to assume what I'm thinking?"

"It's been over a decade since we've met, Draken. Bear in mind that I am not the same person I was before, I'm capable of much more than you'll ever know. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be taking care of my Seishu," you spat, returning his glare slamming the door shut.

You would not be threatened by the likes of an ex-gangster like him. You may have been somewhat allies in the past but times are different now, your loyalties lie with Mikey.

Mikey.

A thought suddenly hit you.

Over a decade ago, Mikey abandoned them, his friends, just like how he was abandoning you now.

You staggered slightly, taking a few steps back as you leaned against the closed door.

Was history repeating itself? Mikey promised he'd never abandon you. Mikey was your king, your hero, your leader and commander.

For over a decade you followed him more obediently than you had ever followed Izana, all to be abandoned yet again.

You shook your head, ridding the thoughts from your mind as you heard heavy footsteps trudging from the bedroom.

Inui emerged from the hallway, wrapped up cozily in his thick blanket like a walking burrito, hair a bit mess and gaze as sleepy as ever.

"Hey baby," you smiled as you walked over to him, cupping his face in your hands as you pulled him down for a kiss. "Finally awake?"

He hummed before leaning down for more kisses, earning a laugh from you as you held him back. "Noo," he whined as he rested his chin on your shoulder.

"Such a baby," you laughed, rubbing his back comfortingly as he dropped more of his weight on you. "You're gonna make me fall."

"For me?" You felt him smile against your skin.

"Silly boy," you scoffed, amused. "Do you want breakfast?"

He shook his head, wrapping his arms around you yet again. "Want cuddles."

"I have to leave though, since you don't want brea—"

"I wan't breakfast," he mumbled, cutting you off.

You couldn't help but let out a humored breath, messing up his hair playfully as you kissed his cheek. "You really...."

As you walked down the street you suddenly spotted the pet shop owned by Chifuyu and Kazutora. It was an impulsive decision, really, but for some reason you decided to walk over and perhaps check on the cat Chifuyu wanted you to buy.

The bell chimed as you entered and you spotted Kazutora talking to Chifuyu behind the counter. The two of them turned to you, Chifuyu with a smile and Kazutora with a rather... horrified expression?

"Hey Chifuyu, how's the cat?" You smiled as you walked over, ignoring Kazutora's expression.

"Y/N, nice to see you again," he grinned, lifting his fist as you bumped it with yours. "She actually got bought the other day."

"No way!" You smiled. "That's awesome, I'm glad she's found someone. How's the business going though?"

He shrugged, walking around the counter to stand next to you. "It's alright, steady as ever. By the way, you came at the perfect time!"

"Did I?" You tilted your head curiously.

He nodded eagerly. "Mhm, you can meet the third owner of the pet shop, he's finally in today!"

"I don't think that's necessary," Kazutora finally spoke, cutting in your conversation.

That definitely caught your attention.

You turned to him, lifting an eyebrow tauntingly. "Oh? And why is that?"

"Is there any reason it should be necessary?" He asked, crossing his arms.

"Is there any reason I can't?" You countered, tilting your head mockingly. He remained silent, gaze hardening as you smirked at him. "I thought so."

"Yo Chifuyu, why didn't you tell me you didn't feed the cats yet?!" A familiar voice sounded from the back.

The figure emerged from the backroom and you couldn't help but feel as if time slowed, but not in that romantic way most people would interpret, it was more of dread.

"Y-You—" he froze as he stared at you.

"Baji?"
