"Hey, Katie! Watch this"
Leo, bending his knees and thrusting his hand forward, tossed a stone across the sea, watching as it dipped in and out between the ripples of water yet never going under.

He turned to face her and smiled as she jumped up and down, clapping her hands.

"That was wonderful, darling. Can you show me how to do it?"

"Of course. Come here."

Taking off her sandals, Kate made her way to Leo's side, squealing as the ivory bubbles fizzled over her toes, bringing a coldness with them.

"Alright, so what do I do?"

"Well-"
Leo hovered over the sand and selected a stone, a perfect discoid shape and handed it to Kate.

"Hold it between your thumb and index finger and-"

"Like this?"

"Yeah and just uh, put your hand in a fist. Look"

He held up his hand and positioned it to show her and she copied it, effortlessly.

"Good, now put your hand flat out and flick your wrist but don't let go yet."

"I'll never let go"
She flicked her wrist and laughed at the quote.

"Really?"

"Yeah"

"Alright anyway, so you have to skim it now. Repeating your wrist flicking thingy but this time you have to let go."

"Okay. I think I can do that."

"Wait Wait!"

Leo stood behind her and steadied her body, his hands on her hips and his breath lingering on her neck.

"Bend your knees"
She did as she was instructed and turned to face him, their faces centimeters apart.

"You can skim it now. Go on."

Focusing her attention back on the ocean, Kate flicked her wrist and let go of the stone, watching as it hit the water twice and sunk beneath the fizzing waves. Her excited look turned dismal

"Mine only hit twice"

"You still did it though, Katie. I'm proud of you."

A smile crept back onto her face and she turned around. Leo's hands were still on her hips but quickly moved to wrap around the small of her back.

"I did it, thankyou Leo"

"Its no worries, but now you have to show me how to do something you're so good at."

"Mhm and what might the elusive Dicaprio be thinking of?"

She wrapped her arms around his neck, breathing in the salty air and listening to the calm breaths that sustained her beloved and kept him beside her.

"You tell me, love. What are you so good at that I'm not?"

"There's nothing. You're too talented. You can do everything I can and much more.".

"I'm sure that's not true, Katie."

"Oh but it is. Why on earth would you want to be with someone like me?"

"Moments like these. I wouldn't wish to do it with anyone else but you."

He stroked her hair back and kissed her, their lips full of passion, happiness and the great sense of serenity that they both enjoyed.

"Oh, Katie. You drive me crazy. Crazy crazy, my Katie drives me crazy."

"But is it in a good way? because if its not then you've got some serious explaining to do, anteros."

"I'm sorry?"

"Anteros? The Greek god of requited love. You make me believe that love still exists. You're the only one who has ever managed to do that."

"I'm glad. Now, show me something you're good at."

"Well, I'm good at kissing you"

"That you are."

He smiled as their lips gravitated towards eachother.

"I love you, you know that."

"I know. I love you too."

"Now follow me, I have a surprise for you"

"A surprise?" Leo inquired.

"Yep! Just follow me"

She ran across the sand, hauling his hand with her.

"Come on Leo! Were nearly there"

"How much further because my legs are getting tired and I-"

He looked over to Kate who had now ceased in her tracks, her azure eyes burning into his.

"What is it?"

"Look!"

She looked down and Leo followed her gaze.

"Wow, Katie. Did you make this?"

She nodded.

"They're roses. Arranged to spell our names. I planted them a while ago. Do you like it?"

"I love it. They're my favourite flowers, roses."

"I wonder why."

She giggled and leant into his chest, taking in the warmth from his body.

"I never want this moment to end, ever. "
