Getting out of my car, I grabbed my backpack and laptop, it was Friday after school and this was my first stop. Aries' house, I hadn't seen him since around this time last week.

I'd missed my best friend, I texted him throughout the day a lot but it wasn't the same as seeing him and being in his presence. So here I was walking up the stairs and stood on his porch knocking on the door.

A couple of seconds later the door swung open and there he stood with a bright smile on his face, "Acura!" He shouted and I could tell he was using all the restraint in his body to stop himself from hugging me.

I wasn't big on hugs, or being touched. Adonis didn't count because I liked his touch and it was our love language.

But I sat my stuff down and opened my arms and in an instant, I was in the air with his large arms wrapped around me causing me to laugh, "Hey Aries," I spoke once he put me down.

"Hurry up and come inside," He huffed as I slowly grabbed my stuff off the floor and went towards the dining room. Sitting down my backpack in one of the chairs and my laptop in front of it. "The longer I'm away from you the longer I forget how short you are."

I kept a straight face turning around to see him with a smirk on his face, Aries stood around 6 feet, while I was a short 5'1. Something I'm teased about often.

"Shush," I told him as I went to sit on the couch, "So how've your first two weeks of school been?" I asked him as he sat on the couch as well.

"Hectic, I'm lucky our first game isn't until next Friday," He told me. "Coach has us doing all these crazy drills every day at practice. And as soon as I come home all I want to do is sleep, but then I forget I took three AP's this year. And have a shit ton of homework," He sighed speaking quickly.

"I forgot too, I had to change my hours at work because of how much homework I get," I stressed.

"At least it's Friday," He pointed out and I nodded. "So how's has everything been with you? School? Work? Friends?" He asked and I began to think about everything that has happened and took a quick breath.

"School's alright, I'm caught up on all my homework so far which is good. I do have to study for this test on Tuesday," I began. "Work is work, nothing interesting. I haven't told any of my friends I'm back with Adonis because you know, and we all hung out Wednesday," I told him and I could tell he didn't look surprised one bit.

"Was it weird? Did they find out?" He wondered and I shook my head.

"Well, they still don't know. But it was weird. They kept talking about us being together as if it was the worst thing to ever happen, they were treating him all weird when they first saw him. It's just, I don't know," I collected myself. "I want to be able to have a boyfriend and not hide him from them but," I just shrugged and he nodded.

"I get it, there is a lot of mixed feelings from you guys that clouds everyone's judgment about the two of you together but if you say it's different then it's different." He told me and I smiled a bit.

"Thank you," Once those words left my mouth the front door opened and Xaria came walking inside.

Holding her books, backpack on her back indicating she just got back from school. First, she noticed Aries then me, and her eyes widened a bit.

"Hey guys," She waved closing the door behind her.

"Wassup Xaria," Aries spoke up and I mumbled a 'hi.'

Then she quickly excused herself, saying something along the lines of having homework and going upstairs.

"You brought your skateboard right?" He asked me.
