Our date started off amazing. No, my day started off amazing.
I woke up to a text from Xaria telling me that her parents were going to be out of town this weekend, and Brett was going to be over at Aries's house.
And that I could sleep over after our date. It wouldn't be my first time sleeping over, but we've been a bit more touchy lately. I was excited.
Y'know how when the day is taking forever to go by, so you do random shit to make the time speed up so that you get to see them quicker? See her?
That's what I'd done all morning.
We weren't going out until 3, so the morning I woke up early–not intentionally. But then I couldn't go back to sleep. So I started planning what I was going to wear.
Then what I was going to pack to wear to sleep over, which perfume I'd wear, which was an obvious pick because she loves the floral one I wear.
Planned what we'd do when we got to the aquarium, the route we'd take, and what exhibits we'd see. And by the time I finished all of that, it was only 10. Which meant 6 more hours until I got to see her. And I couldn't wait that long.
I was excited and nervous.
But I had to wait, and the waiting was worth it.
Because when I saw her and we kissed forever like we hadn't seen each other in ages. We kissed for so long that we almost missed our reservation to get inside.
And when we did get in we followed my route, held hands, and she let me lead everything, called me pretty every second she got, and it was amazing.
We didn't end up leaving until about 5:3o-ish, getting food to eat, showering, dressing in our pajamas, and doing absolutely nothing. But we were together, and that made it much better.
This brought us to now, it was pitch black outside and we were in her kitchen making cookies.
"Baby! Stop eating all the cookie dough." Xaria fussed at me, a spoon in my mouth that previously had cookie dough on it.
"But it's so good." I stuck my lip out.
"We're not gonna have any cookies, give me the bowl." She held out her hands.
I sat on the counter, cross-legged, holding the bowl of cookie dough.
"No fair." I rolled my eyes, handing her the bowl and hopping off the counter.
I took my spoon and rinsed it off, leaving it in the skin with our other dishes.
"Help me put them in balls so we can bake them." She waved me over, she greased the pan a few minutes earlier, and the oven was just already pre-heated.
"I thought you didn't want my help."
"I never said that pretty, I told you to stop eating the cookie dough."
"Same thing," I walked to her side, and scooped some dough out, rolling it into a ball in my hands and placing it on the pan.
She kissed my cheek, "Thank you,"
My stomach fluttered and I mumbled your welcome. We silently placed all the cookies on the pan, then Xaria put them in the oven.
She set the timer, then we went back upstairs to her room, I laid on my back and she climbed on top of me, straddling my lap with a smile. My hands immediately went to her hips.
"How've you been?" She asked me.
"O-ok, I guess?" I shrugged.
"What's today's date?"
