Elias Easton"Is this our final destination or are we only taking a break?" Anthony asked confused as I stopped the car at a hospital's parking lot, after a long drive.
He looked a bit wary, not knowing what to expect from me.
"No, we've arrived." I cracked my knuckles loudly, removing my seat belt and stepping out of the car.
Anthony stepped out of the car as well. His blue eyes studying me intensely, hoping that my expression would give him a clue as to what I wanted to do in a hospital, that was located in a complete different city.
He had probably expected me to take him out on a romantic date but there were other more important things we had to take care of beforehand.
Since the night, Anthony decided to give me a second chance a few days had passed in which we have tried to spend as much time as possible together.
Still a few times I catched him staring at me, deep in thought. Probably weighing whether or not we should continue our little relationship, or stop before anyone got hurt.
Sometimes, I still waited for Anthony to tell me that everything was a joke and that he only planned on getting revenge on me.
But until now, his acting was on point, if this whole thing between us was actually supposed to be fake...which I hoped wasn't the case.
"If this is your definition of a first date I really have to rethink my decision to date you."
Anthony joked uneasily, hesitantly following me to the hospital's entry. I reached out to grab his hand pulling him along with me.
My nose wrinkled slightly in distaste at the smell of antiseptic and cleaners. It was also pretty chaotic with nurses running around, people hissing in pain or coughing loudly. Some were even looking as if they would throw up on the floor at any second.
I hurried up to reach the elevator, where I pushed the button that would lead us to the second floor. I hated loud noises, especially now, when I was already stressed out.
As the elevator's doors closed I enjoyed the brief moment of silence, ignoring the low-volumed music that played in the background.
"Do you have any diseases I don't know about?" Anthony arched a brow, skeptically studying me.
We regarded each other for a moment, before I sighed deeply.
"Who said that we were here because of me?"I questioned, gently wrapping my arms around Anthony's delicate waist.
"I have no idea what you are talking about?" He creased his eyebrows together in confusion.
He always looked so cute when he had no clue what was going on, but it didn't matter to tell him everything now, when he would find out about it in an instant anyway.
He wouldn't have come with me, if I would have told him, where I wanted to go beforehand.
Holding his hand tightly in mine, I continued pulling him along with me as the doors of the elevator opened. I was directly walking towards the consultation room of my probably most hated doctor of all time. Fortunately, a patient just stepped out of it.
Perfect.
I already thought that I would have to kick out somebody to have this asshole to myself.
"Excuse me, Sir. Do you have an appointment-" A nurse that was rushing in our direction asked me, making me laugh dryly.
"I don't need an appointment." I retorted harshly, before slamming the door of the consultation room open and dragging Anthony inside the room with me.
And there he was.
