I paced back and forth beside the kitchen window not breaking eye contact with the dimly lit street hearing my heart beat ringing through my ears.
I tried to distract myself by changing into my pyjamas consisting of my departed husbands slipknot shirt and shorts and washing my makeup off my face but I couldn't settle down for a second.
"Ash is all tucked up in bed, oh honey please sit down you can't have all this stress on you," Sebastian said walking up to me.
"She's been gone nearly 10 hours, I'm worried about my baby girl Seb," I murmured my eyes welling up.
"Oh honey come on, shhh, she'll be ok," he pulled me into a hug rubbing my back "Sit down honey, come on," he said moving me to sit on the chair.
He handed me a tissue and I dabbed at my eyes sniffling "What if something's happened to her? I knew she'd blow up about this but I didn't think she'd take it this far, I should have handled it better,"
Sebastian kneeled down and caressed my thigh "Hey no this isn't your fault, we both knew she wasn't exactly a big fan of the idea of you and me and that's completely understandable under her situation, but right now let's focus less on who to blame and work out where she is, there's no one who will know where she is?" He asked.
"I um, have her best friend Lacey's moms number she only just came home from work and Lacey's not there, she's tried to get through to her but no answer so she's left messages to tell her to call me if she knows where Lena is but that's a dead end,"
As Sebastian opened his mouth my phone started ringing and I answered immediately "Hello?"
"Um Miss Y/L/N it's Lacey,"
I sat up suddenly gripping Sebastian's hand "Lacey where is she?"
"Um that's the thing I don't know and I'm really worried,"
I took a deep breath "Ok, what do you know Lacey?"
"She was at home with me and my older brother Justin was with his friends and one of them got talking to Lena and asked her if she wanted to go out with him tonight, I told her not to because he didn't seem ok Miss Y/L/N and I've been trying to call her and look for her for the last hour but I can't find her I'm sorry,"
I gripped the phone tighter "Ok Lacey, go home to your mom she'll be worried sick, I'll sort this don't you worry,"
I hung up and grabbed my keys off the table "I'm gonna go find her,"
"I'm coming too," he said following me.
"Hell no you ain't leaving Ash alone,"
"I'm not I'm gonna get Steph across the street to sit in until we are back, wether Lena likes it or not she's both our problems now,"

I drove along virtually every street in town scanning the streets trying to find the familiar sight of my grungy daughter to bring me peace of mind.
Sebastian had stuck his head out the window looking around manically.
I felt my eyes start to water and I wiped my eyes with the back of my hand.
"Honey! Pull over!" Sebastian yelled.
I jumped and quickly pulled over to the side of the road "What?"
I instantly saw what he was referring to down the alleyway beside the nightclub I saw two figures one I instantly recognised as Lena.
She was being pinned against the wall struggling under a mans grip looking terrified and I felt my blood boil and ripped my seatbelt off.
